Choose 1: Pickens - 2025/TO - 2007/Dez - 2014

WR talent wise it was T.O.
Create a player in Madden level WR.

After him it's tougher. The Dez-Romo connection was something to watch. CDL-Prescott was also great, and he racked up some insane catch numbers.
Pickens may crack the top 3 depending on how the year ends.

Always admired T.O. the receiver, just pretty much not anything else he did.
He was an absolute dominant force for several teams including us.

I'll put him in his prime up against pretty much anybody.

Like I said I was a fan of his play, just not the person.

The 3 most dominant WR years we’ve seen the latest 20 years.

Which are you taking

2007 TO -
81135516.715

2014 Dez -
88132015.016

2025 Pickens
73114215.68

Pickens looks like he’s going to lap both guys, but remember the team had to throw a lot more early on because of how bad the defense was.

2007 had Wade bringing the heat to folks with Ware and Ellis. 2014 had DeMarco playing keep away from opposing offenses.
Dez.

Pickens
Do i want him long term. He'll no.

2014 was the season Romo and Dez invented the "jump ball" technique.
Which made both their careers.

TO bla

Um takin Dez over the Dallas version of either T.O. or Pickens at this point. Great as Pickens has been he's not doing his damage with the NFL's leading rusher totin the rock and a hall of fame tight end who was the QB's best buddy on the team. Dez did more with fewer opportunities. But the story for Pickens is not yet completely written.

Don’t get me wrong was never a fan of his especially after that disrespecting the star move he pulled as a 49er.
Yeah,
I definitely hated that moment too but can still appreciate his other on field stuff while he wore a star for us.

As a fan its always hard to separate some of the negative personal stuff revealed about players over their careers while still having a certain respect for their game.

There's been quite a few players whose personality I didnt care for but still enjoyed watching them play.

I still have a couple or so like that on other teams today.

One of the greatest receivers ever, dumb take
Yeah he was a certified jerk but there can be no denying he was a great great player. It was hard to root for him when he played for the Cowboys... but root for him I did.. during that time. And only during that time.

Pickens aint gittin on that list on the strength of one year.. Sorry but just no.. I also think we get too caught up in the numbers of these modern day guys and short change the guys who played in the "only pass on 3rd and long" days. What those guys did when it was legal to much a receiver all the way down the field and offensive linemen couldn't legally hold and again.. OC's had no intention of ever throwing the ball if they could help it. I would LOVE to see what some of those guys could do with today's rules. Can you imagine DBs trying to keep up with Bob Hayes if they couldn't touch him after 5 yards? Or Cliff Branch or Lance Alworth?

Regardless he wasn't drafted here, still a hired mercenary- not to say that i have anything against that, I just prefer Dez bc he was drafted here and had genuine love for the star while he played here
He wasn't "hired" he was traded for
