I agree. The only team probably even close to being willing to consider is the South Florida Cowboys. But, that's a high price to pay for two 4th round picks, especially when you are in desparate need of a franchise QB.

They'd have to give up the overall #1. Not for Barber or Canty. Bottom of the 1st round was more likely even though not likely.

Could be a smart bargaining move by JJ as well. Hard for either of them to set their market value when no one made an offer. I hope Barber gets his money but does not break the bank either. No real worries about getting Canty signed.

They wouldn't take it. Contrary to what lots of folks seem to believe, RB is not a need in Miami.

Agree The Phins already have a good RB in Brown, unless they already gave up on the guy, which i don't believe.

IMO MBIII is better than Brown. BP would have made a play for him up if he was an UFA.

As far as I know, there have been no vists by either player.

Considering how deep the RB class is this year, I highly doubt any team will give up a 1 and 3 for Barber. So why bother setting up an interview if your another team, just a waste of time if you are not serious about giving up the picks.

I would imagine Barber will get an extension after the draft and it will be close to Turner's deal in Atlanta, rumor is that is the model being used in negotiations.

Besides I hope both players want to remain with the Cowboys but of course also want to be paid & believe Jerry will be fair if they are as well.
