I think that hammy may be an issue for Canty all year long. I remember at one point he was on the verge of IR and miraculously a plasma treatment made him available for week #1. It would not surprise me a bit to see Canty eventually on the IR list that he dodged in TC.

Giants DL Chris Canty will reportedly miss Sunday night's game against the Cowboys with a calf injury.
Canty suffered the injury in Wednesday's practice, but the severity has not been disclosed. He missed all four preseason games with a torn right hamstring. It looks like the Giants won't get much out of their $42 million man early in the season.
