Chris Cooley comments on Romo

he's right. what did you expect him to say?

I have a problem with Romo's play as much as anyone here but what Cooley is doing is wrong, guy needs to shut his mouth, he sounds like the little chiuaua that barks at the big dog when the big dog is on the leash but the second the big dog gets of the leash he either runs away or gets his but kicked. Pathetic talk.

I don't care if this comment gets me in trouble; Chris Cooley's obsession with Tony Romo over the last few years is nothing short of disturbing. He needs to just come out and admit he's madly in love with him already.

Geez, it's like when you're in the 3rd grade and have a crush on someone so you show it by throwing spitballs at them.

It'll feel a lot better once you get it off your chest, Cooley.

“It’s SO good,” Chris Cooley said of Romo’s performance during his weekly appearance on the LaVar and Dukes show. “I was watching the scoreboard in St. Louis, and I didn’t see that they’d lost really until they end, I thought they blew them out so I kind of stopped paying attention. It’s amazing, AMAZING to watch him choke like that.

“I’m just saying, I’m up 24 points in the third quarter, if I’m the head coach, I feel like I could probably just take a knee for the rest of the game, punt it away and there’s no way that Detroit’s gonna drive on you that many times,” Cooley continued. “The only way you’re gonna give up that many points is turnovers, right? It’s hilarious to watch him throw pick sixes, too, back-to-back. I loved it. But it wouldn’t be as good as my cage fight.”

definitely.

And the nation responds, "Chris who"?
Take it where you can get it I guess, especially if you can't get it on the field where it counts.

Chris Cooley can catch the ball for 4 yards and fall down.

Wit can catch the ball for 20+ and fall down.

Give me Jason all day. ;)

Last time i checked his mouth belongs to him. He can say whatever he wants, shut his mouth by not throwing back to back pick sixes..

Romo did even better, he beat Cooley's bunch of losers...lol...

Romo has been playing very inconsistently, but in no way or form do you EVER dog out a player like that, maybe if you're about to play them, but to just go off on a player like that in public is worse than stupid.

I'm pretty sure Sensabaugh, Elam and Lee will be licking their chops, and probably won't go for the INT if he's coming across the middle, I'm thinking they go for the kill shot.

I'm embarrassed that that fool came out of Utah...where I live.

I hope some Cowboys take what he said to heart!!

Yeah, Romo screwed up...and right now, I don't feel good about him, and that is just wrong for me to think like that.

But for a freaking idiot to come out and say things like that fool did?

How about this? I hope he breaks his freaking leg next time he plays a game...and I never wish injuries on anyone, until now.

ROMO could easily shut these MoFos up, but stuff like last Sunday just gives them ammo.

He shuts them up every other week, if you know what I mean.

This is just a general LOL at no one in particular, but whenever someone (and I do mean anyone) has an opportunity for their comments to be quoted, it does not mean that someone must respond OR respond in a typical fashion.

Everyone who is aware of my post history knows how little respect I have for Terrell Owens the person. Even so, I remember when we played the Patriots in 2007 and how the media were picking at him to comment about his upcoming matchup with Randy Moss.

Usually, Owens would have followed the knucklehead, 10-cent head route and ran his mouth. Atypically, he did not. Instead, he posted a carefully worded response in his locker for the media to run with.

Even I had to publicly give him props for that move. No one has to give the media what they want simply because they want you to say something. Heck, if I recall correctly, the (old) CBA states that players must allow the media access to them after games, etc. However, it does not make it mandatory for how a player responds to the media--as long as that response or non-response does not reflect badly on the league.

All-in-all, Chris Cooley can say whatever the hell he wants to say (*quote material*), but must he say everything he wants to? Of course not.

Did he have to say this? Nope. Did he choose to? Yep. Hopefully, that choice will come back and bite him in the nether regions November 20 at noon on FOX.

He's probably mad about his 4 receptions for 41 yards and 0 TDs against the Cowboys in Week 3.
