I'd take him if his cost (draft pick + $$$) was relatively small enough to make it worth it.

Philadelphia wants to trade Desean Jackson for a 3th, i know that his salary could be a problem but there's a way to make it work, im sure... what do you think?

My first thought was to laugh but I think it's a good debate actually. I truly want an attitude adjustment on this team and I almost indiscriminately would take it wherever we can get it other than with old players. I think he has an edge but that edge is not physical and instead, more of a chip on his shoulder. I think that is good for a year but I also think he would settle into the "pay me more" guy if he is successful after a year. I would vote "No" but would not be upset if they acquired him. I would prefer a 5th to conditional 4th or 4th to conditional 3rd depending on health, games played sort of caveat. That would mean a 2015 draft pick. My preference would be to get a nasty attitude guy who is violent on the field. Players like Colombo, James Harrison, Ryan Clark, Chris Long, Lamar Woodley and Suh types who can affect a team's personality if you have enough of them. Obviously some of these guys are past good but I like their styles on the field in moderation. :)

The Cowboys aren't short a RB from being a playoff contender.

Any cap space needs to be either allocated towards defense or re-upping the young guys whose contracts are coming due.

I would usually always say no to acquiring a veteran RB but his speed is tempting.

This offense could use a dose of legit quicks.

Defense couldn't stop a beach ball for the last two years, and still people on here think like Jerry by adding more offensive weapons is somehow the cure...Did the Superbowl not tell you anything....when will some of you people learn!!!!!!!

McFadden just got a 1 yr 4 mill (if incentives reached) contract with the Raiders, so that's part of the market; Sproles got a 3 yr/10.5 mill/5.5 guaranteed); I wouldn't want those deals or close to it for CJ, draft pick or not. Saying we have to give up a draft pick spoils the idea completely. We've got a lot of day 3 picks, I'm sure one of them will be used in a mold of RB Linehan desires for his scheme.

He would be great in Linehan's (sp) offense

Is there an RB in this class who looks like a good fit for Linehan? I was just looking over the list. Dri Archer? 4.26 40 only bettered by CJ - fitting. Next best time at this year's combine for RBs was 4.41.

Kid from Oregon is flat out quick. I don't care what his 40 time was. I'd take him in 4th if your using that pick on a RB not an aging vet

I'd rather have D'Anthony Thomas with the same pick at a fraction of the cost.

He got his 40 time down to 4.34 at his pro day - just checked.
