We def need a true FS, more depth at LB and possibly 2 DL men

Yes, the D line needs improved dramatically. We need more pressure from the front 4. And I'm not saying we need to get rid of all the guys we have now, they just shouldn't be starting. Selvie and Hayden would be fine as rotational guys. With Ware's declining play we're going to need to start looking for another premier pass rusher as well. Or we're going to really start missing those sacks he's been getting for us the last decade.

IMO, both the defense and offense have the same problem; they have been figured out and are easily exploited.

Garret gets his offense shut down because his pass plays are all outside the numbers making it easy for teams to take away your biggest weapon, Dez. For whatever reason he refuses to use the middle of the field. Last night early in the game he used Dez on a crossing route that was very successful, then went back to ingoring the middle. Eventually he went to the middle with Witten, Austin and Dez and was very succesful in moving the ball. that's what I hate about Garrett, he refuses to adjust, and if something is working, he gets away from it. It's not just refusing to run the ball.

On defense, Kiffin's defense has been outdated for years. Its well documented that his defense has like 3 plays in the playbook. He is very much like Garrett in that he refuses to make changes and upgrades. In Kiffen's case, even college football teams figured him out.

It doesn't matter, Garrett's on the job training continues. I just wish Jerry would bring in a new OC and DC coordinator. This offense is stale, very stale.

Mort is an idiot.....got passed by other analysts in the biz. I will say KIffin may be the only change though. Garrett's job was saved with the miracle win over the hapless Skins and Romo's injury.....how wonderful.

I don't get it, I really don't. Is this moron really this blind? Does he not see other teams bring in new coaches and turn it around instantly?

We are in salary cap hell but we have maybe two more years with Romo and the time is now. NOW!!!

Your own words are why this job is not open. Bad salary cap shape is the primary reason there will not be a new coach. Jerry does not want the Cowboy brand to be seen in NFL circles and fans as not desireabe. In 2015 or 16 the cap shape should be better and if they stack a couple more decent drafts you should have a strong talent base and flexibility with the qb.

Jerry does not want to fire Jason. He really does not want to fire Jason and have the Texans, lions, bucs, and possibly browns be seen as better jobs.

I get what your saying, but outside of Detroit we are the only other team with a franchise QB. I would want to come here over Detroit (living and prestige).

32 year old qb with a bad back and a history of poorly timed interceptions. Guys either want talent or a clean slate that is not here right now. We need to figure out some incremental improvement.
