Chris Whaley was a much better college player than I realized

I think Whaley will get drafted late. I don't think he becomes an UFA. That's just a guess but I think there is enough film on him for somebody to take him late. He has some talent and he fits well into our scheme. Not saying we will take him but somebody will take a chance on him for the DT rotation IMO.

huh? He already went UDFA. Has been with Dallas now twice since he completed his eligibility.

I think one of Whaley or Gardener makes the team and gets meaningful snaps in 2015.
Leary, Romo, Sterling Moore, Bishop, Barry Church, Patmon all seventh round or later and played meaningful snaps a year ago. Why not Whaley?

They play different positions. So I think they both could make the team depending on what guys they bring in for free agency and the draft. And even then a guy like Selvie might be the odd man out instead of Gardener. At the 3tech Whaley was held in higher regard than Coleman was last year.

No big deal.....Most of us don't know past Romo,Murray, Dez and our favorite player to complain about. That's why these type of threads ,minus the sniping , are so good.
