I never had a problem with it. It was a great phone and it was the perfect color.....Blue and Silver :D

:p: Yup, part of the reason I like it. Similar to my Samsung E316 (almost 2yrs old now) Just wish it had a full color front screen.

The Razr gets better reception than any cell phone I have ever used.

That is a little more important for me since I live in a rural area...

I liked it because it was bluetooth. I didn't have to pay for ring tones :D

Ya, im out in the country but i havent had a singal problem since Cingular bought AT&T and it seems they are moving the AT&T towers over to cingular considering I get almost no signal in my house now. I had the phone almost 2 years and 1 and a half without problems with signal.

I called cingular and they said well to fix it switch to a cingular phone. How nice :p:

Razr or V557... Hard decision. But I use it for work and I really need to have a signal lol.

Never really used bluetooth. Do you need some kind of wireless usb device to sync?

I'm shocked you are still on an ATT phone. I thought everyone had to switch a year or so ago.

You need a bluetooth receiver. I got one at BestBuy for I think $30.

cool, pricegrabber has one for $9.99

Does the V551 take mp3 ringtone or does it use the old ones?

I had to convert the mp3 to a wav. I'm still trying to figure out how to put it on my treo.

I bought a Slvr a couple months ago. I don't like flip phones which is why I didn't get the razr. I'm still figuring out all the features. It does a whole lot more than my old Sony Ericsson.

Just out of curiousity why don't you like flip phones? I have had both and preferred the flip.

I like the SLVR but $199 is a bit much for a phone atm. I myself like flip phones except for the sandwhich looking ones. I like the clamshell cell phones.

Funny, but I don't like having to flip the phone to dial a number. It's annoying to me. The last time I had a flip phone, I ended up breaking the flip part. It's just a preference.

What's funny is I got the Slvr purely by accident. I went into Radioshack to get another ear piece for my phone and the guy checked my acct and said I was eligible for an upgrade. So I'm like cool. And right when i was about to walk out, cuz I didn't like any of the ones on display, he brought out the Slvr, which they had just gotten in, the day before. One of my rare impulse purchases.

Flipping it open didn't bother me. I hated my old ATT phone because the buttons were too figgen small for my fat arse fingers :D

Lol, ya i know the feeling. Having sausage fingers isnt always a good thing :p:

Just got back, I grabbed the V557. Had to wait for like an hour and the sim card still isnt active. Because I am an AT&T customer it takes some "time". So hopefully I will have service soon.
