Better late than never, and that secondary needs some guys to turn it on.

I'm pulling for him too. For us as fans and for him to find some success on the field. Time shall tell!

Claiborne played better last year than he ever has... and this camp (so far) has shown him to have made even more improvements. Maybe he can start living up to some of he expectations that were there in 2012.

Personally, I'm not expecting a lot from him but there is reason to think he might play pretty well this year.

IMO, it has always been the mental side of things that gave him troubles (except for the injuries which also hampered him a lot). Physically, the guy has length and all the tools a CB needs. It isn't unreasonable to expect that he might have matured some and figured out the mind set an NFL player needs... so it isn't a completely wild idea to think that he might play much better than he has.

What's it going to be then, eh?

He has earned, but it matters what he thinks because he's still young enough to turn it around, and much if not all of his problem is injury/subsequently confidence related, not talent. Would you rather him go Eeyore?
No, but have heard the same bravado from him before then when the lights come on, he shrinks.

Has been my least favorite player on the roster over the past few years. By far. Would absolutely love to be able to change my mind on him. Just don't see it happening.

I truly believe he has the necessary tools to be a very good CB in this game, however, until you ARE a very good CB in this game, you probably shouldnt volunteer your opinion on a label that you have earned.

Tough times! Here's a fellow that's really been through the mill and is fighting to redeem himself in a big way. You've got to pull for someone who refuses to quit, despite all the physical adversity that he's seen. I'm hoping that good fortune is yet to follow this guy. He definitely deserves a break this year after all that he's been through -- not to mention the subsequent loss of esteem and respect that followed. Here's to wishing him the best. Jimmy Johnson used to say how being tired makes cowards of us all -- frankly, I think injuries can easily do the same.

I'm glad he's determined to turn it around. His story is far from over, as long as he wants it to be.

He wouldn't be the 1st high pick to bust and then quietly fade into obscurity...so I'm glad he instead has the mentality to do what he can to shed that label.
