When a QB targets you, its for reason....usually its because they believe they can beat you.....ala Clairbornes NFL career

Well I guess in college those qbs were dumb then. Cause they targeted him and he made them pay. Now he can start doing the same in the NFL

Except Clairborne won just about every one of his targets ,Your point fails.

Mo took a big step last year. It took him awhile because he isnt very smart. But i think hes got confidence now and he isnt so grabby in coverage. All i worry about is health with him. I will say it. Claiborne is the best corner we have. I'd put Mo on every teams best receiver and keep Scandrick in the slot.

Scandrick didn't step up until his second contract. I expect the same from Claiborne. Corners take time to develop.

You can put him on a pedestal if you want to, but he has been ONE of the biggest bust on the Cowboys roster, failed from day one. No more excuses, he has talked the talk since 2012. Then turn around and failed time after time... He has had his time,,now its time for him to move on.. Only reason he signed a one year deal with the Cowboys because NO other NFL teams wanted a broken down, slow learning CB except the Jerry Jones Cowboys.

This is the 2nd post in a row that you have either lied, or made up information in which case you are misinformed and need to stop making declarations when you don't know what you're talking about. 1st) you said Claiborne was hidden behind Patrick Peterson which was proven to be bunk when you were informed Claiborne was targeted more than Peterson. 2nd) you then changed the argument to well Claiborne was targeted so much because the qbs thought they could beat him. I countered that with the fact that he was so dominant in college so your premise made no sense. 3rd) you moved the goalposts yet again and said I had him on a pedestal and that NO OTHER TEAM in the NFL wanted Claiborne besides jerry Jones. Which again is more made up crap from you seeing as how the Claiborne himself and the Vikings later confirmed that they were interested in giving him a deal, but he wanted to come back to the Cowboys. You might want to stop making up fake facts, changing arguments at the drop of a dime if you expect to be taken serious.

If there's any CB in Cowboys recent history that shouldn't be happy with the bust label it's Newman... sorry Mo you will have that label until you make a Pro Bowl, or at least until the Cowboys win the Super Bowl with you starting.

So, are you always interested what busts have to say?

Nobody seemed to care what Bobby Carpenter had to say.

Wait, the team embarrassed itself and gave up premium picks, so gosh darn it, I am very intrigued to see what he has to say.
At his stage in his career, Barbie had already played for 4 teams.
Claiborne, many feel, still has a chance to be a good player.
He does have to prove it though; Ithinkwecan all agree on that

I think he's going to play well this season. He's healthy for the first time.

Sure hope he gets better but he will always be known as a bust because of what Dallas gave up. He should've been a 5th rounder.

Kinda wanted to start a new thread but here is good; normally we are hearing about how dez is uncoverable, now instead, it's how much better our future former bust journeyman looks. I hope clai can put it all together this year but until proven otherwise I see this as two problems(our scrub is still starting and our 70 million $ WR isn't making him look silly) and possible third problem ( romo is not as sharp)

I think Morris Claiborne has been a bright spot in camp from what we're gathering. And he's in the best shape of his life from the looks of it. Could be a really strong season for Mo!
