Yes, being ignorant on the subject, I looked Lil' Boosie up and he seems to be famous for beating murder raps and achieving his GED earlier this year while serving time. I assume that there must be a walk the walk song somewhere in his body of work.

Yeah, it's got to mean something, obviously. I'm just not sure we're getting at what the tweet actually is referring to. With Boosie from Louisiana, it's likely he's somebody Mo likes and/or plays in the locker room. This is an inside joke, of some sort. But I don't see any obvious connection with it and with Mo's play or injury status.

Lol. Sig worthy.

Boosie is from Louisiana, I'm sure Mo has been a fan of the gang banging, dope slanging, murderer for quite some time. Props to Lee, that was classic.

Ah. I see. Maybe that's it.

Why people are upset about a player who can hurt us because he isn't the pro bowler we thought he was is baffling to me.

He cost way too much in comparison to his production. You know, I know, we all know that where he was taken in the draft he needed to be much, much better at the the very start.

I think Mo is a fine, young corner that's still learning the ropes. I'm not as eager to give up on him as a lot of people are here might be, just like I wasn't so keen to give up on Jenkins or Scandrick. I love having young corners on the roster a whole lot more than the old, overpaid guys we had in here previously - but it's easy to forget those days.

That said, Mo's health will always be a concern because he's on the slight side. He always has been. That's why I never bought the comparisons to Patrick Peterson, they aren't the same in any facet.

The only thing I worry about is ruining Claiborne's confidence. Once you lose that as a corner, it's all over.

I got a feeling about this guy (sad to say) :( but he reminds me Terrence Newman which was always hurt while playing here with the Boys but as soon as he left, he has being playing and tackling a lot better and harder than when he was here.

I don't know why but this kind of guys are really soft and fragile when playing for the Cowboys. This is why I think Jerry its a great owner but players took so much advantage from him on cases like this.

PS
Probably the same case as Jenkins.

So Ratliff will be playing, but not Claiborne. Oh boy.

Although I could be wrong, so far, unfortunately, it seems to me Claiborne has been about as productive a CB as Bobby Carpenter was a LB at this point in their perspective careers (the first two years).

The Claiborne pick I liked at the time.
The Carpenter pick I hated from day one.

Hopefully, Claiborne picks up his game.

If Claiborne has ties to Lil Boosie, I would cut him right away. True story, I've met Lil Boosie and one of his rap cohorts, Lil Webbie. Lil Webbie lived down the street from my house when I was living in Baton Rouge up until earlier this year. Both of them were high as kites some years ago, and were driving in a Bentley. They then smacked my mailbox with their car by accident. They then rolled out $400 cash for me to get a new one after I threatened to call the cops. Yes, those mailboxes are expensive. We lived in what I consider an affluent golf course community, and you find the occasional rapper moving in. That is the thing in Louisiana for all rappers. They all buy houses on private golf courses after Master P did it in the late 1990's.

To make matters worse, Webbie's house was later sold at a massive discount after he had some "legal" troubles. They tried to use that house sale as a comparable for pricing my house when I was selling it late last year. Neighbors always reported a sweet smell coming from the back yard of the house, no telling what they had to do to be able to sell the house.

Well, considering you're the Don, I would have called in some people to, well, you know…. :D

This is because our idiot owner coddles them and our jello HC does not have the stones to hold players accountable and instill discipline

Lee cracking jokes about someone else missing time due to injury.

That's funny.

there really isn't one...i just posted it as a joke.

claiborne is obviously an admirer of boosie, just like hostile is of john wayne. so if i challenged hostile in a fight or a shooting competition and he backed down, a quip or gib i'd likely make is "cmon man, you're no john wayne".

it's obvious lee challenged claiborne in some fashion and claiborne backed down and got clowned in the process.

lol you must not like marcus spears then. he plays the "cop" in boosie and webbie's "better believe it" video.

What's with all the hate and negativity surrounding Claiborne? The health part I understand, that I truly get, but his play, despite struggling at times in some games has been effective mostly as of late. Don't forget he only turned 23 as well, and in my opinion his biggest weakness right now is obviously his health and the fact that he still has a little bit if bulking up to do. But defensively at times he has been very good, and solid alongside Carr, not to mention his upside is greater than anybody on the roster still.

I say Claiborne right now is at 7 out of 10, and by this time next year he will be close to the 9. Don't forget who his coach is, Marinelli is a fantastic defensive mind, and he plays against Dez, Miles, TW and Beasley every day, that helps. Plus it doesn't help to be compared to arguably the best in the game Peterson.

TL;DR Claiborne is a solid player who just needs to stay healthy in order to become great.
