I thought the whole video was funny. Bennett's two lines "I wish he was" and "we know" are hilarious. Deserving of a repost in these hard times.

I will toot my own horn here.

I said from day one Carpenter would be a terrible 3-4 LB and the only reason he made any plays was the benefit of playing alongside Hawk. I was wanting Cromartie (for all the wrong reasons I admit. I never saw him play, just hearing about his potential)

He doesn't even look like a linebacker. He doesn't look like anything. I have never seen a pro football player like him. Horrible.

His problem has nothing to do with 3-4 or 4-3. He's just a wuss.

Scheme isn't his problem...He'll be out of the league in the next 3 years. Thank the all knowing and all powerful Tuna for that one

I bet Michael Vick is more respected!

He deserves it. Three years of doing absolutely nothing but having the last name "Carpenter." Piece of crap.

He's also a locker room snake and a rat.

Somebody should have kicked his butt for that. I'm surprised Owens didn't.

You may be right. I have my own suspicions. But AFAIK we don't absolutely know who the rat(s) were. Or have I forgotten something concrete. People say they think he is and it gets repeated enough until it becomes fact. Most of the time gossip is BS.

He does look like a bust. He needs to be a weak side LB in a 4-3 and perhaps he has a chance to play in this league.

I do wish they would line him up at a rushing OLB position or put him in a max blitz package. He has the speed to create some mismatches with RBs trying to block him. That is if he's not a complete wuss.

The scouts and the talking heads all agreed that Carpenter was just about the most ready to play LB in that draft. So Tuna had a lot of company along with m ore then a few that post here on this board. Sometimes you are just wrong about a player=sometimes everyone is. It happens. Move along.
I am surprised that he is still on the roster- if he truly was a real problem he would have been cut by now so that is why i do not buy on all this rat stuff. If jerruh would cut TO which he clearly did not want to do, why would he keep Carpenter around?

There was something fishy about all the leaks last year and suddenly Barie popping up on First and Ten.

I was praying Dallas would draft Thomas Howard (went to Oakland). While he has found success there in Oakland in the 4-3, I'm not sure how he would have done in the 3-4, though I think better than Barbiegirl

im going to chime in here too, if i was a head coach, i would run this video in front of the whole team, and then ask bobby carpenter what he intends to do as a player,

in other words challenge bobby carpenters man hood, i also would see about getting ken norton jr in as one of the dallas cowboys coaches, and letting ken norton jr kick carpenters rear end up and down the field, till he gets off of his whuss attitude and works to become a player

i admit i gave bobby carpenter the benefit of the doubt the first 2 years and i was wrong about him, he is a whus

i remember one play particularly, carpenter is running down on a kickoff coverage, and the opposing player lunges at carpenter, carpenter, just stands there to absorb the hit, the player goes around carpenter and makes the tackle on the play, while carpenter is looking at air

The amusing thing is Jerry released TO and has looked to trade Greg Ellis but hasn't shipped out this bum. Carpenter also explains why Garrett is still here.

:hammer:

I get so tired of people blaming the scheme for Bobby's sucktitude. It's not like 43 LBs get to run around untouched and never take on blocks or hit anyone.
