Clemens outdoes Bonds for #1 jerk in sports

Roger Clemens is a scum bag. He pretends he is calling his ex-trainer because he is concerned about his dying son's health. Instead, he was calling for the sheer purpose of trying to get him to say something incriminating. He recorded the conversation without notifying him. And what's sad, is he gets nothing. In fact, I believe him less after hearing that taped conversation. The guy clearly says: "It is what it is, what do you want me to say" meaning "You took steroids, I can't lie about it" And it doesn't help that Clemens said he wouldn't take a lie detector test on 60 minutes. If you were not lying then why would you have any fear in taking a polygraph test. Clemens is a complete scumbag.

People have been criticizing Bonds. But it's telling that Bonds' trainer was willing to go to jail for him while Clemens' trainer wouldn't.

They're both guilty and neither deserves to be in the Hall. Also who the heck is advising Clemens? Everytime this guy makes a move he looks worse and worse.

Are you listening to yourself? The guy called his trainer on purpose because he knew his trainer's son was dying. He pretended to call because he acted like he cared about his son. He called because he acted concerned. Instead, Clemens was manipulating the situation because he could start a conversation with him if he pretended to care about his sone. Sorry but that's low even for a jerk like Clemens. I really didn't think Clemens was that rotten of a human being.

I'm aware of the recent events surrounding Clemens, and I agree that he's pretty much a jerk, but I've met Bonds....and believe me, Clemens isn't even in the same league when it comes to arrogance. Sorry, but I just don't agree with you. It'll be OK.
