The Cleveland Browns announced the acquisition of Chicago Bears C Lennie Friedman in exchange for a conditional draft pick in the 2007 NFL Draft.

It's no secret the Browns could use more help at center. So it's worth keeping an eye on the Dallas Cowboys' starting center battle, where two talented guys - Al Johnson and Andre Gurode - have been fighting for the job. (Gurode is considered the front-runner.) Either Gurode or Johnson would look pretty nice in a Browns uniform.

Pretty good acquisition for the Browns. Friedman's is about as good a p/u as they could have hoped for at this late of a date.
