I really like this move. Michael is a far more physical runner, and he's hungry to prove something. I like the thought of him setting the tone like Murray did last year, and then use Randle as a change of pace.

Plus I'm tired of Randle and his BS.

Randle is done......he is now low man in the pecking order..

no love for vanilla strategy and man blocking schemes?

Oh no! I love running on 1st down 98% of the time, and only throwing out of the shotgun. Just line up and beat your man! Screw predictability, or smart moves like moving Dez around and creating better mismatches. That's for college teams. *obvioussarcasm

So your saying that the Cowboys is going with what made them successful last year. What a novel idea and whoever thought of this in the Cowboys organization is a genius.

Lest hope he can run and run and run some more, like Rawls and Lynch.

You don't think we will score a single point on offense?

How's it going to happen? Can't pass, can't run. Can't get in FG range. No, we won't score a single point unless like I said, unless ST or turn overs saves our bacon.

No. I think we still see a solid dose of him. Michael has never seen more than 9 carries in a game. He's got one career reception. Doubtful he comes in as a bell cow.

I'd be really happy to see him go 10-40 and wear down the D a little a bit for Randle. JR can be valuable as a change of pace guy.

Of course, these comments won't sit well with most of the board because so many of you can't get past simple dichotomies of player evaluation.

That is bleak. Past results may indicate this might be correct. New backup QB and new RB/LGuard does not inspire supreme confidence.

This is no reflection on the new QB. He will need someone to pass the ball to, someone to hand the ball off to and I'm just saying he hasn't got that this week. He has been set up to fail. And Romo is still a month away from playing. Bleak is an appropriate description. Without Dez, I don't know how to fix the passing game. But I do know the running game didn't need to be as dysfunctional as it is. CMike is not the remedy.

Your joking right? We scored enough points to beat Atlanta and new orleans. All of a sudden now we won't score on the Giants? The same giants team that almost lost to a horrible San Fran team?

I think the blocking gets easier as the RB wears the dline down. Murray did what he did last season because by the 3rd quarter they were so banged up and gassed they couldn't stop anything. Here's to hoping Michael has the same sort of impact

Sadly, I don't think he's joking.

If we scored enough points to beat somebody then we would have beat somebody. You either did or you didn't. You can't be a little bit pregnant. So the first part of your comment is flat out wrong. As for the coming gnats game... how are we going to score? No one to pass to, no one to run the ball. As for your comment about the NYG/SF game... do you know what almost losing is? Winning! I wish we could "almost lose" ever darn week. Get your weak argument out of here.

Do personal attacks make you feel like a bigger man? How sad your life must be. Come back at me when you have a football related reply... big man.

Who is Joey Ickes?

Just a guy on Twitter. But he's talking about what Fish said on the Fan and what Bryan said this morning on Cowboys Break. Both said to put them down on the record re: CMike being the starter on Sunday.

You ever have a moment in your life where you see someone who is in dire need of help you can provide? Some simpleton just going about things the wrong way or thinking they know something when they really don't and you have it within your power to right that wrong?

Well...this is that moment...only you are on the receiving end:

The Cowboys do have players to throw to and hand the ball to and I feel pretty confident that the Cowboys will put points on the board against the Giants. You are clearly drunk on the opposite of the blue and silver koolaid...not exactly sure what you call it...but if you're drinking it, you are clearly the one leading a sad life.
