You ever have a moment in your life where you see someone who is in dire need of help you can provide? Some simpleton just going about things the wrong way or thinking they know something when they really don't and you have it within your power to right that wrong?

Well...this is that moment...only you are on the receiving end:

The Cowboys do have players to throw to and hand the ball to and I feel pretty confident that the Cowboys will put points on the board against the Giants. You are clearly drunk on the opposite of the blue and silver koolaid...not exactly sure what you call it...but if you're drinking it, you are clearly the one leading a sad life.

So because you disagree with what I believe will happen, you feel the need to psychoanalyze my motives for saying it? I appreciate you taking the time for me but bro, your kind of help, a brother doesn't need. If I'm wrong then I'm wrong and I'll say so... but I'm not wrong. I'm sorry if that hurts your silver and blue sensibilities. I wish I shared your optimism but I don't. And for that you attack me? It's not good enough to just say you disagree?

If we scored enough points to beat somebody then we would have beat somebody. You either did or you didn't. You can't be a little bit pregnant. So the first part of your comment is flat out wrong. As for the coming gnats game... how are we going to score? No one to pass to, no one to run the ball. As for your comment about the NYG/SF game... do you know what almost losing is? Winning! I wish we could "almost lose" ever darn week. Get your weak argument out of here.
Don't completely agree with your assessment, but I completely agree with bolded print above!
Edit: I feel the need to add that I would like to have a comfortable win every now and then rather than "almost lose" every week. But in the absence of the occasional "comfortable win", I'll accept an "almost lose".:)

Your joking right? We scored enough points to beat Atlanta and new orleans. All of a sudden now we won't score on the Giants? The same giants team that almost lost to a horrible San Fran team?

Yes, the defense was as big or bigger problem i those games as the offense.

How's it going to happen? Can't pass, can't run. Can't get in FG range. No, we won't score a single point unless like I said, unless ST or turn overs saves our bacon.

A slightly better performance by the defense would have resulted in wins against the Falcons and Saints.

The Cowboys have enough problems. There is no need to exaggerate the problems.

Where's the fun in simply saying "I disagree." If everyone did just that, the zone would suck. It is the colorful and subjective opinions that make this one of the better sites to visit. I'm sorry if you don't appreciate my help. But to simply say that the Cowboys have no one to hand off to or throw to is taking your pessimism to a level that I felt needed to be addressed...strongly. If I were to say "I disagree" and left it that you would learn nothing and not have to think about it. You would go on about your day with the pessimistic attitude and might even channel it into hurting other people.

And please don't say your not being pessimistic...and claim to be a realist. Because there is nothing real about anything you said. In terms of what is more likely to happen, teams typically put some kind of points on the board. Look at the scores from this past weekend; not a single team scored less than 10 points. And while TWill and CMike may not make the Pro Bowl, they are certainly capable of putting points on the board. They wouldn't be in the league were that not the case.

As for my "sensibilities" I am not the optimist you seem to think I am. I actually am a realist...and to be honest, I haven't the slightest idea what to expect from the Cowboys against the Giants. It really depends on which Matt Cassel shows up and if the Cowboys defense can live up to the hype.

you think?

Gotta ask around her sometimes lol.

I half share your pessimism however a couple factors is that tape the Giants have on us will be different then what they will see Sunday. Cassell is a much more aggressive QB then Weeden. That can work for or against us. With our WR corps if Bryant sits im not optimistic. Cassell may be enough to relieve the line and open running lanes. It only takes a couple shots down field to get the secondary playing farther from the line. May or may not make a difference. But this could be a game where we get a surprise performance

No Dez /No Romo = No passing threat
CMike starting = No running threat

Cowboys defense may keep this a low scoring game but even if the gnats only score one FG, I don't see the Cowboys outscoring them unless turnovers and ST save the game.

We scored with the Weed man against New England and now your telling me that the NY Giants defense is the second coming of the steel curtain and Doomesday Defense. Okay. this is why kids shouldn't be expiermenting with the candy.

I just hope we get things figured out by the time Romo returns because I don't like the idea of relying on Romo to magically solve all problems. We weren't that sharp when Romo was playing this season. Didn't make a commitment to the running game, too many fumbles by the WRs, and offense got shut out by the Eagles. That was with Romo. Hopefully we get things figured out. I don't know if CMike is the answer. It's hard to tell if Randle/McFadden were mediocre or if it was a result of Weeden or the O-line being banged up. It's good to see us trying something different. We can't afford to be stuck in our ways and lose 3 straight again.

Actually my point is accurate. We scored points. I was rebutting that. And you cant come up with an answer as to why we wont score. Dez will be back, we have had a week of rest, and a defense that looks like they can close out a game if we can control the clock. Which having a pass threat and RB who can tire out a defense does. But keep being negative. For the record, we scored enough points to win, our defense didn't come thru. Don't blame our offense for putting the numbers up we needed.

So you are saying that if we score a touchdown you are going to admit you were wrong? May want to be proactive and say it now then. No way we get shut out. If you actually believe that we will, you haven't been watching this team this season at all.

If things had been different, they wouldn't be the same? Wow, how genius of a comment. Thank you.

Ed Werder first reported this last week. Now I gotta go to Fisher's site and pay a premium for some week-old news?

Yeah, I'll go sign up right now.
