Cowboys DeCamillis Rushed to Hospital

Dallas Cowboys special teams coach Joe DeCamillis has been rushed to the hospital in the Washington, D.C. area

DeCamillis reportedly collapsed on the team bus while the Cowboys were on their way to FedEx Field.

The Cowboys are set to play the Washington Commanders on NBC, Sunday night.

Reports suggest it may be an issue with his appendix.

You'll remember DeCamillis was injured when the Cowboys indoor training facility collapsed during a storm on May 2.

At that time he suffered a fractured vertebra in his neck, underwent surgery, but returned to his coaching duties in late June.

oh man I had my appendix taken out in April but it didn't burst...I pray his didn't burst, then it could be ugly

I don't really know. They said he just went to the hospital and won't be in the game tonight. They will keep us posted as to his condition.

This will motivate us. If you know his story (Hos posted it earlier in the year) then you know the players love this guy and they'd love nothing more than to win it for the guy with Landry's bullhorn.

I pray he's OK. And may God look over him.

Update--coach D has appendicitis, which is something I've had. So he'll be OK, barring a very small chance of tragedy (as is the case with any surgery). Fan is saying he wasn't feeling well, he got an MRI and he's getting and appendectomy.

By the time he wakes up, his team will be playoff bound.

NP. I don't think it burst. You can feel the pain in your side for a while and it really hurts. So unless he ignored it completely, he probably has enough time to get that appendectomy. I spent almost 7 hours in the hospital before I even went under the knife.
