It's been nice to not have to ignore posts about whether or not anybody would notice if he didn't show up for his job or about how he's literally the worst head coach in the league because he had .500 seasons with .500 teams.
I have to say, though. The pendulum swinging on this stuff drives me almost as crazy as the misdiagnosing the problems do in the first place. It's the players. Good coaches find and develop and retain good players. Good players execute. Teams that execute win games. Things like going for it on 4th and 1 can help teams out, but that's not what makes a team good, really, in the long run. As much as people don't like to hear it, it really is all about the process.
