On a serious note, I do think Jerry was shocked by the Shannahan firing (like everybody else). There may be a chance you'll see Wade as DC, Garrett as OC (if he doesn't get a HC job elsewhere) and Shannahan as HC.

Most of us didn't Pacman coming back after his suspension, alot of people didn't believe R. Williams (WR) is coming to Dallas (mid-season). Ya never know.

Just read the SI Article about Shannahan, It looks like he'll be back to coaching in 2010. Dallas chances just went up.

I know we had a bad season and I saw our Defense get better but, D*mn does anybody feel atleast a little bad for Wade?

I mean it's not the Defense that completly choked this year (Baltimore game aside).

Just read the SI Article about Shannahan, It looks like he'll be back to coaching in 2010. Dallas chances just went up.

I feel bad for anybody who gets fired, unless they do somthing illegal, but Wade has to go. He is not a "head" coach. The Cowboys will be lucky to be 8-8, if he returns next year as there head coach.

D was fine even in the Baltimore game until they ran out of gas from being on the field so much.

Exactly. If I knew Wade personally it would be tough but it's a business.

If you think about it for a second then you will understand why Wade should be hear. I wanted Wade gone at the beginning of last season but you can't get rid of him for a couple of reason.

It would hurt the defense a lot....how many 3-4 coaches are there....how many 3-4 coaches are there that's on Wade's level? How will switching from a different HC affect the personnel ? Two years is to soon and pretty unreasonable.

I agree with this %1000. No way we can switch to a 4-3 and nobody is better running a 3-4.

Plus, installing ANOTHER new staff with completely new systems will set us back.
