I restructured Tony and Carr only.

Franchised Dez, Let Murray go to free agency and then paid too much for him.
I offered McClain 5 he signed with Green Bay for 5.4
Spencer turned down 3.5
I went after Graham and McPhee and struck out several times.
Some CB's were available in FA but after keeping Carr that seemed to not make sense.

On my draft switch Lockett and Smith and you probably like it better. I took Smith because there were few options left.

OO went right before me in the first Preston Smith was gone early in the 2nd. I had Alex Carter's name on the card in the 2nd when I got a trade offer to move down where I took Grady Jarrett.

You signed Carter, Durant AND Kelvin Sheppard. I recall thinking that Sheppard would be a good fit as a 3-4 ILB, but I don't know if he has the speed that Marinelli likes at LB.

IMO, it's time to move on from Selvie and Hayden.

I don't know what you were paying Parnell as only his cap hit is shown, but he will get more than 2.1M per year.

I guess you're going BPA with Flowers because you also signed Parnell. Parnell will likely get a 4 year contract and Flowers is unlikely to beat him out. I guess Flower could be a consideration at Guard; although he is taller than average there.

Jarrett looks like a 4th round or later type player to me. I like him as a developmental type, but I don't see him as a 2nd rounder.

I like Z. Smith right where you pick him.

OK with Lockett.

I think Steven Nelson will be more like a 2nd rounder or 3rd at the latest.

It seems like Langford would go earlier considering his good combine, but there are a lot of RBs in this draft so I don't know for certain.

I like your draft but I wish you could do something else with that 1st pick.

Me too, I guess I could have gone CB and I thought about it, but I had Carr back. I really wanted more Dline help, but nothing was there. I could have traded down and maybe taken Preston Smith.

Sheppard was a cheap signing as depth, same with Selvie and Hayden. I didn't want to go into the draft with a gaping hole. Parnell was signed for 3 yrs 3 or 3.2 mill per year. I wanted Free but he turned down 4 per year.

Picked Flowers as BPA and I think he will push Parnell, he's also great depth if he can challenge Leary at guard even better. I like Jarrett in the third but not as late as our pick. I don't know where the CB's will fall out. I have Nelson as a 3rd rounder for now and got lucky he was there. This was a fan speak mock.

Those simulators are a nice concept, but they just don't have reasonable rankings for the draft picks. I've seen fanspeak mocks with Leonard Williams at #27.

Good effort on your past. I wonder if you had specific knowledge of Sheppard.

Yea I have the premium fan speak and you can customize the board. I'll do that once it gets closer and there is a little more agreement on some of these guys. For now i usually pick against the composite.

I'll take that draft right now, as is.

I actually love Flowers at #27.

.

RELAX X-man. I like Parnell but he is not the same pedigree as Ereck Flowers. Flowers will rip his face off in practice drills and most likely be starting week 1. Flowers will not kick in to guard instead he starts at RT and backs-up Tyron Smith at LT. He would be our plug and play starting right tackle immediately and could make our offensive line one of the best of all time.

We need a mean SOB at RT, unfortunately I don't think Flowers will be there at 27.

I'm with you on this guy. My only issue is that Free is a great locker room guy and the leader of our young OL, so I'd like to see him back.

An OT I like a little later is Donovan Smith.
