Yep I'm really surprised he went for this deal

So it seems they are treating him like a high level RB / QB. Not a QB.
So even though the 49'ers have a good offensive system in place - If Kaepernack runs and is hurt they are off the hook.
Quite quickly. Maybe they saw what happened to RG3 and made a good decision.
And that is the contract type RG3 should get next time.
