Who should we be looking at?

I'm not real familiar with potential 2016 draft prospects.

RB, DT, DB, OT, LB, and QB are the positions I think we would be interested in.

We still need to look at corners. There's no guarantee that O-Scan will come back at full speed. Carr is on borrowed time. Same likely for Claiborne. That leaves us with Patmon and White. The good news is that we seem to trust Marinelli's scheme which means no more 'cover corners' that don't play zone and that means we are not likely to take a 1st rounder at corner (unless they are really special) and we will look for bigger, better tackling corners in rounds 2-4.

I kinda think that DT is not a big issue at all if Crawford continues to progress and stays healthy.

Yeah, it looks like the Cowboys want to move Byron Jones to safety eventually with the ability to play some man coverage from that position.

So corner will be a position of need.

I think we'll be picking in the mid to late 20's so Corner or Right Tackle could present the best value.

I still think the best plan is to go after the BPA. I think it has worked for us for the most part as long as we don't change schemes and that BPA no longer fits our schemes.

I know this isn't realistic and way off topic, but I find this to hold up when playing NCAA football on Playstation. You're just better off recruiting the best players you can find instead of trying to fill holes and just coach to the strengths and weaknesses of the team.

Last year we took Martin who was the BPA despite having a very good O-Line already and a weak defense. The O-Line became the strength of the team and they were able to protect Romo and run the ball brilliantly and keep the defense off the field. I think the only time that not drafting the BPA is viable is when we're talking about the QB position. Teams that need a QB should go after a good one, even if he's not the BPA and teams that already have a franchise QB should probably avoid drafting one if they have more pressing needs. But other than that, this team should continue to look at BPA's.

Myles Jack and Leonard Floyd are definitely a couple of guys I could see us liking.

The two obvious big names on ND are Stanley and Smith but their CB, KeiVarae Russell could move into 1st round territory too.
