Seems as if this board has a CF mentality when it comes to wins and losses. This is the NFL. You aren't going undefeated.

Look, I hate the Giants as much as any other team. Probably even more so than the eagles and Commanders. That being said all that matters is the tournament as Parcells put it. We are 11-2 and have to go 2-1 over last three to clinch home field throughout. Hell, we might even go 1-2 and still clinch home field throughout. I hate losing the the Giants and yes they have a great defense but if we get them at home and no weather conditions....I'm not afraid of them. I'm not afraid of any team in the playoff picture.

This week the Giants get the red hot Lions. We may have a chance to clinch the east again Sunday night. If the Giants win then that knocks the Lions out of being able to pass us for home field most likely. The Giants will lose at least one more....it's what they do. Let's all just relax and step back from the ledge. If there was ever a good loss to rebound and refocus this was it.

See y'all Sunday night

I don't care about the loss, I wasn't expecting 15-1

What scares me and probably a lot of other fans is how anemic the passing offense has been the last 3 games.

I am hoping it was a hostile Vikings stadium and the cold weather, but I am not ruling out Dak has lost some of his confidence.

The Romo crowd is the one littering up the board with this crap. We are 11-2 with 2 more home games and a learning experience this week. Dak had a horrible game, I've admitted that a million times but he's a rookie, and he'll over come it. Next year, Dak will be all-world, IMO. But right now, we have 3 more games to go and I think Dak will get it together.

For all the guys talking about Dak's struggled the last 3 games, I disagree. He won.

You can disagree with Dak struggling all you want it doesn't change the fact his completion percentage is way down, his yards per attempt are down and he hasn't thrown for over 180 yards the last 3 games.

The offense had ONE play vs the Vikings and a rushing TD after a ST got a turnover inside the 10. That means this offense has 2 TD scoring drives in the last 8 quarters with solid offensive line and running back play. I am not going to put it all on Dak but he has to play better.

Yeah.. They used to have a separate forum for this Romo Dak crap. I guess that disappeared right alongside Dez's performance last night.

He won but he has struggled the last 3 games. Understandable to me since they were all very good defenses. As good as Dak has played December football is much tougher and he has to step his game up. But the talk of a qb change is not the answer. Dak is the future and Dak will take us as far as we go this year. That may not be as far as we would like but benching him sure isn't the answer
He just has to play better and we will see if he can do that Sunday

I'm pulling for Dak to hit the re-set button.

But I wonder if any Dallas QB has ever gone 3 straight games with < 200 yards passing. We have spent all year talking about the many good things--especially the lack of turnovers--with Dak. he deserves the praise. But unless you have a completely dominant defense (think SB winning bears, Ravens, Bucs, Steelers) and run game (we have the latter) then you're going to need more from the QB come playoff time.

You can win a war, while still losing some of the battles. To grade the season as a whole Dak has done an excellent job, but to say he won so he didn't really struggle is a foolish statement. Bryce Petty, Brock Osweiler, Jameis Winson, Eli Manning and Marcus Mariota all won yesterday, but i'm not sure they really did anything to suggest they didn't struggle.

We're talking about the last 2 games. Tossing in the Commanders game where the Cowboys put up 31 points and had zero turnovers doesn't further the argument unless your goal is to make Dak look worse.

The Cowboys were held to 17 points at Minnesota. Let's see how other offenses fared there:

Giants: 10 points (lost)
Packers: 14 points (lost)
Lions: 22 points (OT win after scoring 16 in regulation)

Looks like the Vikings defense has been tough at home against veteran QBs on good teams as well. As for the Giants, obviously they match up well with the Cowboys since they're only team to defeat Dallas in 13 games.

But hey, let's flip out about it. After all, we've been waiting 3 months for a reason.
