It takes a miracle to get any new/deserving players to break Garrett's line-up. Lets see.......we finally see what Dunbar could do after a few years. We are still waiting on Escobar and Hanna. A plethora of WR's rarely get a chance, just a play here and there.
We are still waiting for Michael to get a whopping two carries in a game.
Collins was essentially a FA and chose to come here. He should have started from day one and I would not bet on that changing next week unless there is an injury.
This says it all, JG likes to stay with someone once they become starter! I call it "starter mentality" other coaches do it too, but JG is real bad
and stubborn . For years he had Dunbar, and like last year rarely used him, and this year they had to use him and we saw what he could have been doing all along.
I find the CM issue really strange,. I would have already given him a half to play, by himself , just to evaluate him, but JG only needs 1 play
per game and it has to be 3rd and 1 !! lol
JG's use of personel is just really limited and odd, and they would rather play a limping starter than a healthy # 2.
Bullflop
Leary rushed his return and the FO and staff knowingly allowed it to happen. They deserved what they got. Gotta feel badly for the fans, though. Being subjected to watching that sort of failure isn't a pretty thing to see.
This is again due to starter mentality. It forces starters back before they are fully healed, and often times can cause a career ending or damaging
injury.
Miles was rushed back before his hamstring was fully healed, and that caused him to have a lingering issue with it and as soon as he seemed ok
he would go back and pull it again.
He got away from being a starter and seems ok now.
Both Romo and Dez will be forced back before they are really ready, even if season is pretty much a lost cause.
Maybe they dont reinjure , and are ok, I just know they will be rushed back.
Thing is Dez is not much help without Romo, or he wasnt much help for weedon last year, so why rush him back ??....Starter mentality.
