Collinsworth had words to the effect of: "Jerry will look for whatever reason he can to keep Garrett." Does he find one in that game?

Anyone else surprised by how little talk there was of JG being on any kind of mildly hot seat?

Only thing you can say is that his team didn't quit on him. Which is amazing with his boneheaded game management and playcalling.

I think he just wants to get out of the cycle of firing a coach every 2 or 3 years. It has little to do with Garrett, he wants to be able to say at least he was given the time.

Everyone seems to believe the Washington game saved it. Jerry got a sell out with great TV ratings for his palace. That's what matters to him.

Garrett has been around since 2007.
