They seem to ignore the fact that they need to beat the skins first. So they can really worry about us until after they play the skins.

And why all of a sudden have then colts become unbeatable? They didn't look all that great yesterday

Who says the Colts are unbeatable? I mean Luck is no Sanchize, but unbeatable?

Colts didn't look all that great last week against the Browns either. Cowboys are definitely capable of beating them. Hell, winning out and finishing 12-4 is a realistic possibility at this point. Who'd have thunk it a few months ago?

The Colts are definitely beatable. Luck is going to give this defense some opportunities and we have to capitalize.

They're pretty good. Their defense can really turn it on

The Cowboys defense only struggles when they have to worry about the run and the pass. Indy can't run the football. Dallas could very well win this game by 20 if the offense plays well.

The Colts are scary because Andrew Luck is a quality QB and we don't defend the pass that well.
But the Colts defense is no where near ready for our offense.

If we get the OL healthy enough to go we will probably pound that defense, taking time off the clock and protecting ourselves from Luck.

We are basically Seattle minus the secondary... which happens to be their best unit.
But we also have a better QB and WR which is why we own on their annoying home turf.

And I have watched the Colts the past two weeks and they were really pretty mediocre overall.
Luck is good but he has very few real weapons after Hilton.
No run game and the defense is spotty at best.

CLE and HOU are .500 type AFC teams that gave them dog fights.
The AFC is definitely softer than the NFC after NE/DEN.

I think the colts are a better team than philly but that havent been playing great lately. Dallas can beat them though.

Seattle and Detroit winning Sunday might make winning out necessary, too. It's getting harder to see scenarios where Dallas finishes 11-5 and gets into the playoffs, although anything can happen in the NFL.

Detroit could lose to Chicago and Green Bay, but I'm not sure how likely it is that the Lions will lose both.

Maybe the Seahawks fall to both Arizona and St. Louis, but with the way they are playing and Arizona losing its second QB, it seems more likely that Seattle will win out and take that division.

It also would be a surprise for the Packers to lose to both Tampa Bay and Detroit, although it was certainly a surprise for them to lose to Buffalo.

There is also always the possibility that the Eagles lose to one of their two remaining division rivals, but that seems fairly slim as well.

Dallas controls its fate at this point, but the safety net if it falters in one of its last two games isn't very big.

Arizona clinched a playoff spot with our win last night. So, there's probably one wildcard spot already gone since I think Seattle wins the West. We just need to win the next two and take the division. I do NOT feel good about grabbing a wildcard at this point. Of course Philly could slip up in Washington (highly doubt it) or N.Y.

Not sure why so many people think that skins game is a cake walk when the skins battled the eagles in philly earlier in the season. The skins game is the one I think they can lose, the Giants game not so much

I don't see any way the Skins can beat Philly. I just don't think they can score enough points. The Giants can at least score.

You pretty much nailed what I was going to say. They are a very good team, but there are great things in our favor:

  • We need the win way way more than they do. That alone may mean they don't want to fight as hard.
  • They can't run the ball. The problem that gives our defense major fits against teams like the Eagles and Chicago is that we have to respect the run game and bite hard on play action. I would play coverage and blitz here and there, but I am planning on stopping the run with my front 4 and staying over the top of their WRs.
  • No TY Hilton can frustrate the team. In his hart, Luck wants to sling the ball down field. Without Hilton and a run game, you force him to dink and dunk. If you're going to get beat by them, make sure you do it the way you know how. Give up the yards but force fields goals.
  • Their defense is so very very meh, but they do have some DBs that like to jump routes, so be careful.

I think this game can change the fan perception of how we play at home, which I personally think is more a result of a few bad Romo games where health was an issue. If he stays clean we can be just as effective at home.
