Irsay was booked around 3am Monday morning in Carmel, a suburb of Indianapolis, and his bond has been set at $22,500. Other than that, details are still emerging. The colorful and outspoken Irsay took the Colts over from his father in 1997. He has a reported net worth of $1.6 billion. The NFL's personal conduct policy does apply to owners. In October of 2013, Irsay tweeted that he hadn't had a drink in more than 15 years.

Will the league punish him? They haven't punished Josh Brent, Jay Ratliff, Marshawn Lynch and a few other players for their recent(within the last two years) DUIs and such. I'm not saying he shouldn't be punished, but the league hasn't been very proactive in these situations lately.

The precedent for Irsay are the suspensions the league gave to the Broncos execs last year. Front office personnel are supposedly held to a higher standard. The issue is trying to suspend one of the guys who paid you $40 million last year. lol
