Great job, Jobb! It would be interesting to note, if possible, who the qb was throwing to a particular receiver. Probably can't get that.

You can post anything related to the combine, Cowboys, draft in this thread although Combine related might be best.

This should be pinned with the other 7 or so pinned threads.

Ebron is supposed to run a sub 4.50 which will be the fastest since V Davis a few years ago.

What's the over/under on the Richter Scale if we were to draft him? :)

You would see me running a sub 4.50 to get in front of Jones to stab him in the troat (spelled like I want it to sound)

Well, that seems a tad excessive but I get the message. I realize this will get some heads shaking since we obviously need to address the defense but I wouldn't have a hissy fit if we selected a guy like him. You don't get receivers that fast and that large very often. If he can be split wide then AFAIC he's a viable #2 or even co-#1 receiver.

I'm looking forward to a defensive player but I think the Boys should get the best player available and if that is an OL, TE, or WR then I'm ok with that. Wouldn't be real happy with a RB there but wouldn't cry about that either if he was deserving.

I think Dallas interviewed Manziel today.

Not even 6' but man that kid has huge hands. That'll help him spin it.

Not really. Russell had huge hands, which is why Seattle was not nearly as worried about his height. He had 10 1/4 inch paws.

Yeah. You're right. I think I was comparing his hands to some of the others in camp and was surprised that his were so much bigger. It turns out that it's just the other guys' hands are small.

Yeah, I was noticing the same thing. Not really a lot of the higher rated QBs who have really big hands. Doesn't mean they can't play but it's a really important factor in evaluating QB talent. Was listening to Polian earlier and he was making the point that Parcells would not draft a QB if he didn't have good sized hands. I don't know if that's true or not but that's what he was saying. He said that in his evaluations, the size of the hands actually counted more then the size of the QB overall if an evaluation was close between a QB who might be, say 6'3" vs a QB who might be 6'0".
