I know that most of you guys wont agree with me on this one but I hope Bill comes back for next year....If it doesnt work out than we will know for shure but if someone else comes in and wins with his players we will all be saying what if....Through the 4 years with Bill I have gotten to respect the guy a whole lot and I dont think he deserved to go out like this...We all wanted Sean Payton out og Dallas and we got our wish and it back fired on us...When we lose a game everyone wants BP out of here bur he had a great game plan coming into this game....If the players executed we would have had like 5 interceptions and won by a huge margin....

I want him to come back too.

WITHOUT Zimmer.

However, if he doesn't want to GROZ, then I bye bye BP. If Zimmer has to stay for BP to stay, then I want both gone. But, as I said, I prefer BP to stay and get a real DCoord.

BP stays and retires after the 2007 season.

JJ hires Bill Cowher thereafter.

Yes, please come back, pack your bags, drive over to Zimmers, pack his bags, both of you cruise over to Soprano's, back his bags, then the 3 of you head off to the Jersey sunset for 20 years or so of R & R

if someone else came in and won big with basically the same roster then we'd know that Parcells WAS the problem...

I love BP and I wish he walks out with his head held high..

He has built a great team for the future but when looking at his stats it will look like he was a failure. He had to sacrifice a lot of experience for the sake of the future and that is what cost him in the end. He brought the game plan but the execution is what killed the team tonight.

You want to be a .500 team forever?

Not good enough for me.
Yes, my favorite ice cream is vanilla, just how I like my defense.

With the NFC so weak, I see Bill coming back for one last shot.

......................exactly.

BP should have GROZ when they went to the 3-4. Zimmer has no 3-4 experience. That is BP's fault - Zimmer has had to learn the 3-4 on the fly. They are both to be blamed but certainly, Parcells is NOT blameless.

I am with you on this. I want him back as well. We should be talking about playing Chicago or NO today. Last night was a fluke. Players need to make plays. Why disrupt the organization to bring in a new unproven coach and set us back several more years.

I think Sean has the luck of good weapons and rolled into a good scenario. I don't remember our offense lighting it up with him as our coordinator. Let's see how he pans out over the next couple of seasons.

But seriously, who do you get? It is more often than not that a new head coach will not be successful in their first year.

You do realize that BP has essentially a .500 average here right? That's not in his first year, that is in his 4 year tenure here. There are as many holes to fill now as when he got here, or damn close to it.

Need at least 3 OL.
Need a WR.
Need at least 2 DL.
Need at the very least 1 LB if not 2.
Need another CB.
Need AT LEAST 1 S.
QB???????

Let me put it this way, we're it not for Romo's hot streak, we would have finished 6-10, 7-9. Our defense is a disaster - you know - the one BP insisted upon and drafted for etc and etc. and etc..

I understand what you have outlined, but the next in line will have the same needs and issues as well.

Payton went out and got his weapons, ones that would fit in his system. He saw what his weak spots were and he tried to fix them.

"In fact, 27 new players from the team that concluded the 2005 season on New Year's Day 2006" From this article. http://neworleanssaints.com/newsroomarticle.cfm?articleid=2888&sectionbanner=img_header_news.jpg

We just need to face it, Parcells isn't going to lead us to the promised land.
