Looking for some help on where to stay. I'll be going to the Cowboys vs Giants game on the 12/14 and looking to stay one night at a decent hotel. Im looking for the closest hotel to the stadium that would provide possibly a shuttle to and from the game. Any help would be greatly appreciated. TY in advance.

Thank you both for your quick replies. Its my first trip to Dallas and I have no idea where these hotels you are referring to are. Are they close to the stadium? Close enough to walk, or would I need a shuttle? If I am to look online, would I look for hotels in Irving or under something else? Ive already called the Marriott, but they told me the closest hotel is in some place called Los Colinas (sp) or something like that. This is very important to me as it will obviously be my first and last time to the "old" Texas Stadium so I dont want to screw anything up. Ill be heading out there with my 11 yr old son whom is just as crazy about the Boys' as I am. I want to make this something he'll remember for the rest of his life and I dont want him to remember his dad messing it all up, lol. All of your help is very much appreciated. TY again.

try to get a room at the Marriot as hard as possible. nice Hotel plus you can get autographs saturday when they show up and Sunday before the game. I'm pretty sure it's just the Dallas-Fort Worth Marriot but somebody from the area will know.

We will be at La Quinta near the stadium. Just look for a bunch of party animals waiting to take off for the staduim parking lot for some tailgating.

Looked up the DFW Marriot and ouch its expensive! $299 per night and we had planned on staying 2 nights (Sat & Sun). $600 for hotel, $400 for flight and $400 for tix = $1400. I was trying to keep it at around $1000, but if worse comes to worse I guess I have no choice.

Still looking for anyone else's help that could throw some advice my way.

it's worth it if you wanna get autographs and see the players up close. I went 3 weeks ago and have an autographed football with 16 sigs including Witten,Romo,Zach,Ellis,Ratliff and others. plus a few former players hang around. Erik Williams walked into the hotel right through the lobby! plus it's a nice hotel with good food and a nice bar also. by the way i'm from Wappingers falls, NY.

I think it is the airport noth mariott. I stayed there last year and had a blast. I pimped out my friends daughter to get autographs. She was a hot 25 y/o, so it was easy. Good place though, they have a shuttle, and the food and drinks are very good.

I stayed at the Marriot that the players stay at for the Thanksgiving game in 2005. It was really nice and there was a bus to the stadium. I don't know if they still have the bus service though.

Have fun!

Treat yourself to The Four Seasons at Las Colinas. It's where they play the Bob Hope Classic. You can squeeze 18 in before the game.

You'll sleep like a baby and you'll be treated like

You deserve it.

Thx for all of your quick responses. I got a pretty good idea where Ill be staying now thx to a certain someone's advice. Honestly, this is a dream come true for me. Ive been a Cowboys fan for 27 years (since Ive been 7) and I always told myself I have to go to a game in Texas Stadium so Im not out of place cheering for the Boys' in other teams stadiums (which sux btw). Low and behold my wife surprised me with tickets for Christmas which wasnt supposed to be known until 2 weeks before the game. When I found the tickets it seriously brought tears to my eyes as I was just in complete shock and amazement. Im sorry I had to ruin my wifes surprise for me, but at least my son still doesnt know. It'll be priceless to see the reaction once we tell him where we're going. TY all again for your replies.

Great Christmas gift and I hope you and your family enjoy the game and I hope your son is pleastly surprised.

It reminds me of the story of the man who caught his son in womens clothing. The dad asked him son are you gay? me and your mother will support you if you are. The son said no dad of course not I'm a Commander fan and this is our outfit. The dad said son get the hell out of my house. :laugh2:
