Commander injury updates?

I never even flinch anymore when Haynesworth goes down. I know he'll be back in a couple of plays. But I think he's playing about 80% of the snaps which is good for a DT.

Edit: it's actually 72.2%. Excluding the game against the Lions where he was carted off, it is 76.6%

He flops around out there like he's half dead.

I hope he does play... I've been looking forward to seeing him and Gurode go up against each other for awhile.

So has Gurode's orthodontist.

What? Have you not watched Haynesworth this year? He's been great this year. He's played through all the injuries he's had. You just HOPE he takes 50% of the snaps off. Some people need to know their stuff before making statements as ignorant as that.

Like he always does? Helloooooooo, they've played once.

You just need to simmer down some little fella. You are in our house. Learn some manners. Haynesworth has made a couple of plays but your team is in serious trouble. I would never wish injury on a football player but payback is a *****. I would hate for someone to roll on fat boys legs resulting in a break. He is owed some pain for his crap he pulled a couple of years ago.

Portis is not playing. Betts actually ran with more authority and purpose on sunday than Portis has all year. But still, this is Ladell Betts. Decent player but I'd rather be facing him than Portis(if healthy).

Haynesworth will play and probably need to be helped off the field 2-3 times due to being nothing but exhausted. I have never seen 1 player helped off the field so much in my life. Hopefully Gurode handles like he did the last time they played in Nashville, which is why Haynesworth could do nothing but kick Gurode.

Indeed Carter deserves more respect than that, afterall he had a winning season.:D

Please. Campbell hasn't found a way to lose not only his NFL career but an 2nd tier Arena League career because he couldn't get off the drugs.

Few people deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as Quincy Carter and Jason Campbell certainly isn't one of them.

If Gorude plays, I hope he "slips" and puts a nasty gash in Fat Albert's head. Then throws his helmet, pretends to cry for sympathy, brings up some bull**** about his kids, and gets forgiven.

Or, I hope he just dies of a heart attack already.

Either work.

Washington is a second tier arena team.

You must start telling us how you really feel about Haynesworth, Eldorado. :laugh2:

Ahem... sorry about that.
Don't apologize. Subtract the heart attack and possible permanent facial/eye injury, I feel exactly the same way. :)

They have 24 team sacks; 18 by Carter/Orakpo/Haynesworth.

That's the part that worries me.

Their defense has played pretty good, but their secondary stinks from what I have watched. Lyle Orton might have thrown for 450 yds Sunday had he not got hurt in the first half. I think he ended with nearly 200 yds in the 1st half alone. But they also havent played many "good" offensive teams, and I suspect we will have alot of success throwing downfield on them if we get their front blocked. Like the last 4 games or so though, I expect Washington will blitz more than they've shown against other teams because we havent shown we can beat it enough. Atlanta, Seattle, philyl and GB all blitzed us a ton, and in the case of all but Philly they blitzed us more than they did other teams.

That's what I'd like, but Greg Blache is notorious in his dislike of blitzing, so I don't think we'll see as many blitzes as I'm hoping for.
