The disconnect between Sean Taylor, Shawn Springs and Joe Gibbs is a symptom of the Washington front office's recent mismanagement. Gibbs will have trouble turning around the team as long as the roster is such an exercise in incoherence, excess and fickleness.

When LD is blowing up Andre Carter on your first defensive snap against us, you will probably be reaching for your watered-down Dan Snyder brand liquour earlier than usual because you know it is going to be a long day for your team.
