And a unanimous vote at that. Both sides of the aisle agreed this trademark nonsense was just that...nonsense. Too bad the naysayers will only be quiet about it for another 4-5 years.

1st Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

And while I've reviewed the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, I'm still haven't found the right to never be offended.

Maybe he's pro "it's not really offensive when 90% of the offended actually aren't"?

Not what the ruling is about. It isn't specific to Washington.

But hey, it sounds great to say it is ok to offend one in 10 people.

You know that has limits, right? It isn't a blanket justification for saying whatever you please.

So you are pro offensive imagery and words?

Lets use your criteria. I just saw a so-called comedian hold up the likeness of the severed head of the current President. That filled my definition of "offensive imagery". Later, I saw a play where the performers simulated assassinating someone who looked like the current President. That, too, was "offensive imagery" to me. Using your definition, should those events or expressions be considered illegal?
