he went on IR for a broken hand?? Something that takes 2-4 weeks at most to heal? Something don't seem right here.

Actually it helps the Skins.

They get to see if trading away picks for Duckett was worth it and maybe they go ahead and sign him.

See if Betts is more than a 3rd down back, which I certainly think he is.

I think they will run more often w/ Campbell under center, at least early on.

I think he was stil having shoulder problems. They really haven't run him too hard all year.

WIth the switch to JC, the season is over. Might as well shut down Portis too and get him 100% for next year.

That's my guess anyway.

I am on your bandwagon.....heck with the deadskins!

Well I never hear other fans feeling sorry for us when we have gone through major injuries. I never wish injuries on any player but I don't shead a tear over it either. As we are told it is part of the game

Looks like that pick the Skins have in the first round, (one of the few they have) will be a pretty high pick.

I wouldn't mind seeing them win a few meaningless games down the stretch because there are going to be some super blue chip players at the top of next year's draft.

As long as a few of those wins help the Cowboy cause I'll pull for them.

Ha hee haw haw hee hee!!

Down down the drainings they goes full force threw the pipes and out to the sewer way they belongs!!

Oh my oh my!! Deadskin has no hopes left.

Here's a listings on they failedness below:

Slow witted Soup man gonna be stinking it up at quarterbackings starting next weekly.

Old man Gibbs drooling seenile and trying to get back to Nascar with a big bonus buyout from money grub Snyder a course.

Greg Williams exposing his privates pubicly that his defense is just all smoked up and mirrors.

Saunders creating plays on the chalkboard like a mad fisics professor with his 700 page textbook but having players what can't not read or rite proper.

Lazy good for nothing maingy players doing a brinx tipe robberys on Snyder for more moneys wasted and then laughing it up when they loose all the way to they overstuffed bank accounts.

Front office what don't not no what they doing and led by coke eyed Cerrato and his bouncy boobed chumps.

Now Portis done been wheeled off on a stretcher with his hand near amputee-- cursing off at his lines bad blockings and hoping to play in another city next year while causing all manner of confusings and mayhem two boot.

Oh yeah baby!! Love to watches at them Deadskins while they going down like a TJ hooker!!

Hee har hee tee yuckety ha ha!!

Great. Just when the Skins have to play the Giants and Eagles without their best RB.

It definitely doesn't bode well for him. Jones and Barber actually running well helps Romo more than most people realize.

Portis has been pretty dinged up this year. I am sure he could come back, but he still probably would not be a 100%. It may a good idea to shut him down for the year. Maybe Washington wants him completely healthy so they can get this best deal possible for him when they trade him for picks and then draft Adrian Peterson.

Portis entered the season 231 yards ahead of the pace of Emmitt Smith after 4 seasons in the NFL. He is now 730 yards behind Emmitt after 5 seasons.

Clinton Portis
5 seasons
25 years old
1385 attempts
6453 yards
52 TDs

Emmitt Smith
5 seasons
25 years old
1630 attempts
7183 yards
71 TDs
