I find it funny as heck to even think about the boat the Commanders are in at Q.B. In my mind they are far and away worse off than we are. By all indications its looking like Todd Collins will be backing up Brunell. Anybody ever see Collins play? This guy is PUTRID! I mean STINKY PUTRID...:) Im talking Chad Hutchinson putrid!...LOL If 1st round pick Jason campbell cant beat that bum out for the backup spot then they are in REAL TROUBLE down the road. REAL TROUBLE. Funny thing is....their fans KNOW IT to be true too, but you wont catch any admitting it. See at least with Romo we really dont know what we have as a backup, Collins is a PROVEN BUM over the coarse of a decade....LOL So IMO at least there is hope for Romo/Henson. Collins has already proven that he is inept as a starter. Terribly inept. Heres hoping Campbell has a terrible camp. The clues are in place, id almost bet he does. If he does than the skins are stuck with a proven bum as a backup and a FIRST ROUND PICK that cant even beat out a BUM!....LMAO

And why is this important???? Because if I were a betting man Id say Brunnel misses substantial playing time this year. No way on Earth he gets through 2 years in a row unscathed...NO WAY. At least with Bledsoe we know the guys a warhorse that will hang in there. Bledsoe simply doesnt get dinged much and has proven that over the coarce of his career...

IMO, Romo is the next Mark Bulger! All I have to say is watch what he does in the preseason! Last year when he played he got the ball out quick and on the money... his natural progression should have him ready to step in and play!

dont worry about Romo!

Has Collins even played in the last decade? It's been a long time since he's had playing time. He was a serviceable backup if I recall (though he was starting). He knows the system, that's why he's there.

Just looked, last time he had significatnt time, the ONLY time really, was in 97, when he was still pretty young. You can't really say there's a decade of him being a proven bum. Just some struggles when he was fairly new in the league. Nothing since then.

.....Apparently Youve NEVER seen Collins play. He's STIFF, Immobile, inacurate, and has a hard time avoiding the rush. Oh, and that was when he was young. Collins is VERY IMMOBILE. Thats how I know YOU HAVENT SEEN HIM PLAY. Oh but YOU WILL, YOU WILL, be prepared to get an eyefull!...LMAO

Whenever Collins has gotten ANY substantial playing time he has stunk it up...BADLY. He was ruled out years ago as ever being a starter or a guy you could even win with. Im remember watching him in Buffulo and thinking ...OOOHH DAYUM this guy is awefull. He knows the system, and thats about all he brings to the table. Go look at the stats....Horrible.

......We'll see after training camp / preseason. If Collins is still number 2 "like he IS NOW" then you guys are, well, you know....LMAO. Really, if Campbell cant beat him out all I can say is ...WOW...:lmao:

Buffalo wasn't very good, he was a young QB, you can't expect a lot. Obviously some coaches see something in him since he has been in the league for 10 years when he has barely even played.

propaganda?! lmao! hehe, just sounded funny having a Commanders fan say that we're influenced by propaganda. Sorry, RF, but ES's propaganda has ruined Commanders fans' reputation, even though you don't post there.

The Cowboys and Skins are both in bad shape at that position, to think otherwise is wrong. Go through every team and think would those fans trade with DAL/WAS, how many can you honestly find?

Umto tell you the truth the Commanders and the cowboys both have the same QB issue. You have two unproven rookies to back up bledsoe. We have one unproven rookie and a guy who know the system of Al Saunders. is he good? no that why he is a back up. a veteran back up.

You laugh at Commanders Qb situation but you dont evaluate your own.

I'll admit that Bledsoe has better arms then Brunell, but brunell arm isnt that bad either. it was good enough for a playoff appearance last year.

Yeah but how bad was he in the playoffs? I think both teams need to upgrade in that position soon.

Trully, the cowboys are in better shape than the skins' in the QB position. Not by much tho'. the only diff. is that Bledsoe I think IS capable of staying healthy and play out 2 years in a row. Brunnel?..Not Likely. Other than that, niether team knows JACK ABOUT our Backups! lmao.

......I agree. Heres my thoughts on our backups.........First off, I would love it if Henson fullfilled his promise. Will he?...I dunno, sure hope so though. As for Romo, I dunno what it is really but I just get the sence that there is something to this guy. Cant put my finger on it, just a gut feeling I guess. Best case is if BOTH guys blossom into solid QB's capable of leading us to wins.

McNabb is clearly the best QB in the division, with Eli being the worst last year. Bledsoe and Brunell put up similar numbers. Depth-wise Dallas is the worst with almost no experience while Philly looks decent. My breakdown would be:

Starters
1. McNabb
2. Bledsoe and Brunell are tied
3. Manning (but moving up)

Depth
1. Garcia & Detmer
2. Hasselback & Johnson
3. Campbell & Collins
4. Romo & Henson

And the overall order as 1. Philadelphia, 2. Washington, 3. Dallas, and 4. New York.
