Commanders Sign Levi Jones at LT

Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network reports with their offensive line in shambles and starting LT Chris Samuels possibly out for the season with a neck injury, the Commanders signed free agent Levi Jones.Terms of the deal weren’t known.

Jones, who hasn’t played yet this season, had worked out for several teams in the past few weeks.

Jones was the Bengals’ 10th overall pick in the 2002 draft and started 89 of 94 games with the team, which terminated his contract in May, making him a free agent. Various knee and leg injuries forced Jones to miss 17 games over the last three seasons.

I think you're underestimating the power that is Levi.

With him, the Commanders should be good for at least 9 points a game.

I think Samuels is done for the year, possibly for ever.

I feel bad for the guy.

He also worked out for the Lions.....

He was a pretty good LT once upon a time, but injuries have left him a shell of himself. He should still be better than the bums the 'Skins have on the bench right now.
