I don't get the panic. Pryor does not replace both Jackson and Garçon and there is a reason he didn't get more......potential cancer.

The Commanders are clearly 4th in the NFCE. And there QBs wants out. Come on folks, stop with the over negativity.

The Eagles have upgraded, but does Alston fit in the WCO and just how good is Wentz? We will see.

The Giants are a concern, no doubt

Dam, a one year deal for $8 million is a great signing for the Skins.............I would have been all over that if I was Dallas

Instead we get Butler............wonderful:facepalm:

All the doom and gloom over a converted QB?

The Commanders don't eve know of Cousins will be QB when the season starts. I'm not folding the season just because of this.

I wasn't here last off season and draft. Were members just as much a stick in the butt after the FA and the draft didn't make big splashes?

not all, but guys like Risen and Alexander needed to be on perpetual suicide watch.

Pryor is s cancer but he is also a bigger threat than Garcon and maybe, maybe Jackson. But you're right, he kind of nullifies their losses.

Eagles kinda scare me the most. They had a lot of dropped passes last year. I don't expect that to happen again with their newest acquisitions.

Giants? Meh, they'll have another above average defense and horrible offense. It doesn't matter who they have at receiver or rb, they have one of the most immobile qb's in the league and possibly the worst O line which they still haven't addressed nor can they with the little cap space they have left.

I dont know if I worry about the Skins yet. They added talent, but there is alot of bad mojo within that organization right now. The Allen/Cousins situation could be a season long distraction. If he's traded, then they dont have a QB.

Marshall to NY was a legit power move. May vault them ahead of us in terms of favorites.

Yeah Giants are scary

Our offense is so good and that's with Witten probably running a 4.9 40 and a 2nd receiver that cannot catch the ball. I know the priority is defense but we would be unstoppable with a real playmaker opposite Dez.

I guess I'm unsure what the angst is over.

Alshon is a good WR. That was a good signing.
Pryor was too.

But Torrey Smith and Brandon Marshall? Really? We are concerned about them?

I'm not so sure you watch Marshall play

Oh darn, I like Pryer, but now I'm going to have to root against him, good signing for Washington.

It's a bad indictment if a 1-15 team with a massive boatload of cap space doesn't want a player. You can't spin it any other way outside of incompetence on the Browns part. But, he's going to the Skins so it's not like they are the model franchise of good decision making.

They wanted him, he didn't want them unless they offered a boatload of money on a long term contract. After the Skins made their offer he didn't even go back to the Browns to see if they'd match (which, for a 1 year deal for $8 mil, they would have).

Honest question. Can someone please tell me the hype surrounding a failed quarterback turned receiver who managed to put up stats on a team with no weapons on it and full of rookies?

You kinda made the argument for the hype yourself there lol...but to clarify:

A 6' 4" impressive athlete who runs a 4.38 converts to a different position only 2 years ago has already become one of the more dangerous receiving weapons in the league, and did this on a team with damn near literally no QB help (a rotating circus of bad-to-mediocre QB play all season), and did this being the focus of every defense he went up against (since he was the only real receiving threat as you alluded to), which makes it harder to succeed, not easier.

But he has to do it more than for one year, especially since he has basically zero college experience at the position. I'm sure it's one reason he wasn't able to get some huge payday this offseason. Still, he's an intriguing, incredibly athletic WR with great measurables who should only improve the more experience and comfortable he gets at the position. I'm hoping he, Doctson and Reed turn into red zone monsters.
