Cowboys need a tall corner with Jeffrey and Prior in the division. Jeffrey was always a bad match up for this secondary.

all the way to 1 & done son, we totally tore up that packers team. Made noise in the playoffs and represented the big D like some playas!!!!!!!!!!

all while watching on our tvs. We were totally legends in our own mind , Jerrys, Stephens, and Garretts.
Heard all the crying during FA last yr. Heard the crying about the draft and heard the crying during TC,Preseason and Wk1. By week thanksgiving all you doom and gloom were acting like u been on this ship from the get go. I expect no difference this yr. Young team being built thru the draft. Went from 31 overall def to 14th in 2 yrs. With Minimal changes but simply developing your own players. Avg age of the team is going to be under 25. Im entertained by this team every week. Sorry to say ur not. But the Jones' arent going anywhere. Might be time to jump ship. Ease yourself the frustration

Oh wait so on top of this we have to draft a cornerback early?

Lovely.

why do our fans defend mediocrity???

Guy, Ware got his ring and no way be the same guy who left here. And Newman is probably done with us. What incentive do we have to sway these guys back? Do you think they dont pay attention to whats going on?

Give me the scenario where Ware is sitting somewhere saying "I gots to get me back to Dallas, Lord its been so good to me"!!!!
Because we are use to it.

Dear zone, no use paying great money for good players and good money for mediocre players.

Thanks,
Stephen Jones and Mickey Spagnola

The chance to use a few pieces from FA to set up our draft, which doesnt need many players to turn the corner and we run out in the rain as the train leaves the station, all because we fought to pay for the cheap section. Awesome.

To do what? Carry Brice Butler's jock?
I'm not sure if you're joking or not. To be a dynamic outside receiver, a matchup nightmare, and to show Bryce butler what a receiver looks like .... in his second year playing the position.

It's a reasonable contract that would have allowed us to take a flyer on him with little to no downside along with keeping him off a division rival and severely limiting their options at replacing the talent they lost.

Sometimes players just prefer certain situations.

If I am Pryor and had a choice between making 8 million on one year with the Commanders on a team that passes the ball a lot and just lost two very good receivers or the Cowboys, a run first team where he would be 3rd or 4th in targets...it's the Commanders all day. Commanders give him the best chance to get a huge payday next season.

31 other teams could've offered that contract to Pryor, we are not the only one that "missed out". Not
Many teams are a better fit for him to have a huge year that leads to a huge contract though.
