Where are these holes? Really?
WR....if Butler was better than T Will then why was he barely in the games while T Will was playing?

Butler could play the slot, T-Will doesn't. They liked to use T-Will as a H-Back and in some tight ace formations...why? Because he could block. As far as actually receiving, I think Butler gets open more often.

DE...Irving and Mayowa are decent rotational guys...Tapper? He doesn't even exist at this point. He is essentially a rookie who was never even that highly rated before being injured.

Tapper exists. He was a legit 3rd round pick. Irving is a better DT than DE and if you look at his numbers, he's much better than decent. I think Mayowa sucks.

S.....If Heath is better than Wilcox and Church then why has he been sitting on the bench watching them play?

Don't you find it weird that Heath was basically the starter for the Green Bay game and came away with an INT (and got robbed of another). I would actually put Kavon Frazier in here since he fits the SS position better. But, I'm not losing sleep over losing a 29-year old Church who doesn't run well and is very limited. Or Wilcox that still struggles in zone coverage concepts and wasn't exactly lighting the world on fire.

Either way, the big point in all of this is that historically first day FA signings very, very rarely play up to what they are being paid. I'd rather wait let the market settle down and now it becomes more of a buyer's market and we can replace average to marginal talents like T-Will, Church, Wilcox, Claiborne, etc. or we can re-sign them to a much more favorable deal.

But we aren't out there blowing our wad in FA only to have it blow up in our face year after year after year after year. They may be as bad as Washington was at the height of Danny's spending

Well they didn't go nuts like years past, a good signing. Its like judging Romo for dating Jessica, its in the past.

Them signing Pryor isn't a bad signing at all.

Can we all agree that right now today we're the worst team in the NFC East?

To be fair, we said the same thing last year.

I will agree it is frustrating watching us daze at the stars and sitting around eating cupcakes.

But I refuse to start ******** on the team until I see the final product and how we produce come week 1

Our pass rush got worse, and more than half the secondary is gone. Lawrence has back trouble. Gregory is suspended until the apocalypse. Jaylon Smith is going to play with a brace for drop foot. Sean Lee healthy again for a full year?

Tough to fix all that with four high draft picks and a picked-over free agent pool.

This defense could be worse than 2011-13.

you got Free protecting Dak
lets hope being cheap there does not get our franchise qb hurt.

Thats the Commanders. Pryor isnt a bad deal considering its a one year deal. The Eagles on the other hand, I think only Jenkins and Barwins have really worked since Roseman took. I give Pryor a much better shot at being a Skin beyond 2017 then I give Jeffery or Smith being Eagles beyond 2017

That is actually not cheap, it is quite expensive. Whether he is still a good player or not is up for debate...

actually you have one decent backup G/C
the OT backups played ok.
it is the starter i am worried about.

Collins is a downgrade from Leary.

Free is a year older.

An injury to Frederick or Tyron would be disastrous long term.

Letting Leary walk was a mistake.

As far as actually receiving, I think Butler gets open more often.

And that is irrelevant since he had a higher drop percentage than Terrence Williams. You know, the player who according to people around here has the worst hands ever.

it is cheap because when free retires, they want to replace him with someone on a rookie type contract.

I dont know if I worry about the Skins yet. They added talent, but there is alot of bad mojo within that organization right now. The Allen/Cousins situation could be a season long distraction. If he's traded, then they dont have a QB.

Marshall to NY was a legit power move. May vault them ahead of us in terms of favorites.
