Commanders tackle Stephon Heyer could miss their Week 4 matchup with the Cowboys after injuring his shoulder in Week 3.

Coach Jim Zorn said Heyer would have to practice by Thursday in order to play. Former starter Jon Jansen would get the start if Heyer cannot go.

Heyer is starting over Jansen now?

Either way-surprisingly, the Skins seem to have alot of depth on the OL.

Jansen looked misearable in the preseason.

I guess what parcells said about him two years ago was true.

he is another guy ellis has had some very good games against.

Heyer is a better pass blocker. Jansen is the better run blocker. This could influence Zorn's playcalling. He might decide to run a little bit more, and he most certainly will run more to the right. The Skins have been running much more behind the left side of the line so far.

Is that all you skin trolls do?
How am I trolling? That was meant to be a "what", not a "Wah".

Anyway, the link says nothing about him being out. Just curious if he knows something the rest of us don't.

Maybe now if the Skins complete a 60 yard pass to Devin Thomas on a blown coverage they can enjoy it instead of having it called back because Heyer is a ******.

The play never should have been called back; the penalty should have been enforced on the kickoff:

And I like that Heyer was sticking up for Portis. I don't think that Dockett's tackle was particularly vicious, but if the offense thinks it was I like that they retaliated (in a clean way).

Jansen played a little Sunday for Heyer - who is a personal foul penalty waiting to happen. Either way, Ellis should give the Skins issues.

BUT according to a posted thread yesterday, Ellis' age is starting to show and he sucks, so I guess we're screwed. Chalk it up as a loss...

They are racking up aren't they?

Every week, the national media pundits like Skip Bayless will keep making excuses why the other team lost.

1) We lost to Cleveland b/c Derek Anderson and Jamal Lewis were recovering from injuries and were rusty.

2) We lost to Philly b/c the Eagles beat themselves and had injury issues.

3) We lost to Green Bay b/c Rodgers is still a young QB under the national spotlight for the first time and Al Harris got injured.

Of course, we had our fair shares of boneheaded mistakes and injuries, but noone said a peep.

One penalty and now he is seen as having a likely hood to do it multiple more times? It was one incident in which he was sticking up for his RB.

talk abotu jumping the gun.

Reading comprehension must not be your strongpoint, huh?

the article says Heyer MIGHT be out. In order for him to be out, he needs to not practice on Thursday. I, personally, doubt he will be out. This is my own personal opinion, and holds no merit, however, in his post game interview, he said that the injury was only minor and that it would not phase him this week.

Unless he somehow reaggrivated the injury to make it worse, it should not be a problem.

However, if this is true, the Skins are going to have some more problems. Jansen has looked HORRIBLE in the preseason and so far this year (first game for a portion, and a little bit last game for Heyer). Like many of you have said, Ellis and Ware should have a field day if Jansen is in.
