yes he most certainly does, when he retired he owned majority of all wide receiver stats, he was a great wide out

Sorry, but Monk was never a "Great" WR. He was Very good for a lot of years, but he was never, ever an Elite WR.

Does he deserve to be in the HOF? That's debatable, but he got a lot of those numbers cuz he plays A LOT of years, not cuz he was a dominant WR.

Does Drew Bledsoe deserve to be in the HoF? I say HELL NO. He was REALLY good for a few years, but he was REALLY bad a few more years.

same could be said about brett farve. if he would have retired 3-4 years ago he wouldn't have just became the 2nd qb to get into 60k yards, he wouldn't have broken marino's records.

just because they played along time shouldn't discredit them from their stats they went out and got

I don't think they should take Gibbs out of the hall of fame completely. But after watching his return, and the two questionable superbowls, I think they should probably put his bust in the parking lot. Maybe something in between. Not in the Hall per se, but maybe his own parking spot for life.

Its seems like win win for everyone.

the difference is, Favre was dominant at one time during his career, and is dominating now. Monk never dominated, and was never really the most feared WR on the team.

i wont discredit he was never dominate to the level of Irvin, Swan and the other hof wide outs. but you can't sit here and say his stats dont matter when his stats are on par of Irvins. imo his stats say he should have a bust in canton

What? Favre could of retired 5 years ago and he'd still have HUGE numbers that would put him in the Hall of Fame. Favre has been dominant for A LOT of years, Monk was NEVER dominant.

Sorry, but it should take more then stats to be in the HOF.

Was Monk ever considered one of the top 3 WRs in the game during his time? NO.

Was Monk ever a dominant WR? NO.

Was Monk VERY GOOD for a lot of years? NO.

Don't be so simple minded and just look at stats to come to a conclusion. And his numbers are "on par" with Irvin's only cuz Irvin didn't play for 39 years.

If you're looking to flush out some trolls, this bait is kind of lame.

Quality bait, no matter how dated, are things like Udall forcing segregation on the avowed racist Marshall or even Kopay and Smith falling in love in the Washington locker room shower.......

Is he a HOF coach? Yes.

Do the other busts talk to his in the middle of the night? No way.

That's because if those other busts are mean to him, he will send in a tape to the HOF front office!!
