Ok, this is where i question Parcells, we signed the A train, and let him go for a cool million, then we signed Peerless Price for a cool million, total on these 2 players was 2.3 million dollars, and we still have i think about 3.8 million left in cap money or a little more, we could have signed the OT from the Jets, that the Giants got, Mckenzie, or could have signed Plaxice Burress Wr, another player we could have gotten was Antonio Pierce, solid film watching middle linebacker, true , middle linebacker, but he could have played in inside linebacker, out of those 3 players we could have gotten 2 key players that the Giants wouldnt have gotten, and still have 2 more key players. On the deep pass play to Cooper, not sure if Peerless Price could have done better, but i think he could have. Again, Parcells let him go, why? And isnt it the coaches jobs to teach offensive linemen to block better? That was horrible offensive line play by our offensive linemen this year, just pathetic.
So, all in all, i blame Parcells, like he sholdnt have rushed back Anthony Henry too soon, that IS ONE BIG FAULT HE HAS, HE WANTS PLAYERS TO PLAY HURT, SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO LET THEM GET HEALTY, BEFORE CAN PLAY GOOD. GRANTED OUR OFFENSIVE SIDE OF TEAM PLAYED HORRIBLY, and officiating was terrible, but you lose games by not playing well.

I agree, but the question has to be asked...who could he have signed?

I'm not disagreeing, I just really don't know the answer, except for the guy Carolina signed from Green Bay.

LT Shelton.

My one major critique of Bill and JJ's offseason was not going for a vet swing tackle.

But I suppose it looked like a crowded field back then, with the intent to develop Rogers, TT, Rob and continue developing Vollers. Plus big money had gone into signing a vet guard.

No use crying over it, I guess.

The loss of Rogers was HUGE. What the heck is going on with Peterman?

sure ... if we only had to help on on side of the line instead of rolling the dice on which side to help, we'd be better off. But if we had two good tackles we could free up witten to just be a threat offensively!

I tend to believe that Marco is struggling in due part because he's trying to help Rob get his assigment down. Rather then concentrating on his assigments, he babysitting Rob too. Same apply to Larry Allen with Tucker.

We needed both A-train and Price this year. A-train started two or three games while JJ was out and Price filled in for Crayton. I was happy we had both of them during that time period.

Flo wasnt playing all that great this year, but I will admit he is very good in pass blocking...his run blocking the past 2 years has been deplorable.

its just that not only do we have a RT that cant run block, but he can only pass block some of the time.

Larry Allen is getting beat up too, I have noticed that guys are just avoiding him and sidestepping to the middle to get past Al Johnson and its working.

Its time for a MAJOR overhaul of the offensive line, no more old guys, lets get some FAs and draft some athletic ones (Bigger doesnt mean better anymore)

Its time to cut Larry Allen this offseason, I wouldnt mind keeping flozell and have him concentrate on fixing his run blocking, WE NEED A NEW CENTER, and I think Petitti will be fine after an offseason strength training program. Rivera needs to pack his bags.
