It depends on how he has played and what his production is as to whether the decision is easy or not. Will the coaches utilize his speed and give him opportunities and will he make the catch, or will he be a ghost on the sideline.

Depends on a few things. If Thompson is making a difference, and making plays, then is that draft pick more important at that point.
Also when is Thompson a FA. Was his contract a 1 or 2 year deal.

And, depends on the health of Noah Brown. Can he come in and replace the production of Thompson, if he is producing.
Also wasn't Thompson doing KR duties, game 1, and is he still doing this week 10.

Way too early to really look at this. But it is an interesting thought and good info to know.

Or a comeback route when it counts to keep the chains moving. He was getting separation last week.
Most receivers were getting at least some separation last week. Much of the time guys were open.
