A pounding on the girls in green is always a victory worth celebrating with food and drink.

A victory in February is worth celebrating with booze, women and midgets.

I enjoyed the Eagles game more. But that's personal. I hate the Eagles. Beating them in the finale for the division and then again the following week in the wild card round is one step short of a Super Bowl for me.

But I never believed that team could go farther. This team I think at least has a shot.

Yeah, you guys are down playing how well we looked going into that vikings game...

Easy to say now, after we got destroyed...but back then, we were all pretty confident

I attended both games. I liked the Lions game more. After the Eagles game, there was too much celebrating on the sideline. I thought I was at the Super Bowl. I knew the team was toast against the Vikings the next week.

There was more relief than celebrating this time.

This team will win in Green Bay.

I believe the Lions tested our offense more than any team left in the playoffs.. We beat a sorry Eagles team & were smashed on the following week.. Romo got beatdown yesterday & finished the fight..

2009 it was so overdue that anything else was gravy. The Saints (though we beat them) and Vikings were clearly better teams.

2014: I think this is team is better, more mature and Seattle and Green Bay are not miles ahead of them - but I guess we will see.

Aside from the obvious fact that we're still in the Super Bowl hunt now versus in 2009 playoff victory over the Eagles, what is the major difference, particularly as it relates to Romo - and if you want to expand it, the Cowboys?

It seems as if many (not just Cowboys fans but non-Cowboys fans) are celebrating as if Tony Romo won his first playoff game. Obviously, that's not the case.

So what makes this win different than that win. Or, for those of you who remember it, what were your feelings like after the 2009 Eagles win compared to your feelings now?

2009 it felt like we were a little more smoke and mirrors .. I was happy to beat the heck out of the Eagles back to back but we had allot of gaffes that year .. This year just feels different .. We seem to fight harder and never seem to give up .. We don't have allot of divas .. But we have some strong blue chippers and blue collar workers who seem to play as a team and fight for each other

Detroit has a much nastier defense, so I feel good about putting 24 on them compared to the Eagles game.

This playoff win feels huge for Romo. The Eagles win got a lot of weight off Romo but he stunk it up the following week so people forgot quick. If Romo upsets the Packers the Internet will crash.

I was more pumped about the Eagles win than a win against the lions. But maybe it had more to do with the fact that the Eagles game was in hand early on, and there was more time to celebrate. Lost my voice.

But I'm more confident in going farther in the playoffs with this current team. Seems this year the team can win even without everything clicking. If the offense and defense do their best at the same time, it will be like the Colts game.

I was very confident about the Vikings game but the main difference is the coaching staff and the mentality from now and then. Wade and that staff vs. Garrett and this staff is not close. This team has great confidence that they can beat anybody and has proven it so far even when they get done. The 09 team had some of this but again the leadership/coaching staff failed them in that Vikings game. I'm hoping that doesn't happen against GB but we have shown no evidence of folding so far.

I enjoyed both...................playoff wins are hard to come by and you need to appreciate each one...................I never thought back in 2009 that it would be 5 years till our next playoff win, so take nothing for granted and enjoy the moment.

Who knows, it might be another 5 years till our next playoff win so I am going to enjoy the hell out of this one. (controversial or not)
