I like Taco... This DL rotation will surprise a lot of people I think. We may not have the 12 sack guy-- but I can easily see 6 guys with 6+ sacks for us this year from a variety of positions on the DL. Much more difficult to defend against us when we have a consistent, dangerous push from multiple positions than when OLs can scheme and take away the one threat.

They're different players and in different schemes, but the Steelers are really raving about TJ watt.
One LB there said he was most ready rookie he'd ever seen.

I'm not down on Taco--more of wait and see mode longer term. But if Watt becomes a star there will be some rueage, rightly or not.
Sure. Players develop at different rates.

Don't understand why so much angst against Taco, he may not be the dominant pass rusher everyone is clambering for, but where we were drafting I think he will be a very good player for us. If he becomes a Gregg Ellis type player, I'll be happy. Think he will be given every chance to start on the RDE side as the LDE side looks stacked.
Going against Smith every practice will only make him a better player, maybe not immediately but I think he will get there.
I'm all good with Mr. Charlton ! Rotation, rotation, rotation .... Oh, and I'm really intrigued by what Damontre Moore can bring if properly motivated ...
Camp is gonna be so much fun !

I never really getting worried or excited about practice tweets. People can be talked about all offseason and then do nothing all season or the exact opposite can happen.

If Watt were here, then we'd not be seeing Tweets about him. Why?

Cause Tyron Smith would be stonewalling him too!

personally i cannot see how Taco was rated so high?....he does not have a first step and is slow and the NFL tackles are going to eat him up....have you guys looked at the measurements of Jordan Willis who went in 3rd round?....same as D Ware?....taco is slow and weak in my opinion....sorry to have rained on anyones parade

Because Jordan Willis' combine numbers and game tape don't match up. He looked stiff as a board in pads.

Reading my mind. The fun part is if a 10 sack guy actually emerges from this group combined with the increased speed of the back 7. Katie bar the door.
