I believe this will capture a more accurate portrait on various people's stances on the Bledsoe question.

I love how the Dallas nation is rallying around this team and Drew.

Major props.

Unsure......depends if the OL can continue to protect him. Given protection Drew can win us alot of games. There has never been a QB to play the game that has not thrown an INT but the one thrown by Bledsoe Monday night was a rookie mistake......He can't have many of those and win a SB.

Maybe it's just me, but I also believe we should be able to give him more Options with our Max Protect package.

Nors, why are you giving out props?

He's simply trying to kill this thread because the results won't be spinnable, hence it won't fit with his agenda.

I did vote somewhat unconfident for reasons that I listed in other threads before the extremists showed up and killed the debate.

:hammer:

Bledsoe is the top rated passer in the NFC for a reason - he's had great protection this year. When he has gotten pressure he has made mistakes, and that's been his MO his whole career.

So I answered that I am somewhat confident, meaning confident in Bill Parcells and his ability to protect his QB.

actually this poll is hardly adequate. So super Bowl is the only thing that counts for a team that has been as bad as we have for so long? So if we go to the NFC Championship and lose Bledsoe was a failure? Teams win superbowls

As I said in the other thread, some people may like to gloat at work or with friends come mondays, so 11-5 every year is ok with them. That's sounds like Philadelphia though, not Dallas. Jerry Jones didn't bring Parcells in to make it to the NFC Championship Game. He's there to win it all.

I personally don't see Parcells coaching Dallas four years from now, nor do I see Bledoe QBing then either. If there isn't another Lombardi in the trophy case by then, I would consider Bledsoe a failure as a QB acquistion and Parcells a failure as a coach (only in regards to his tenure in Dallas, although a grace period after he leaves should be taken into account due to his personnel decisions for that time).

theblackbear is here to warn all you dallas fans not to fall for the tin man's trap. It appears that Jerry Jones has assumed the role of Tom "the wizard of oz" donahoe bringing the tin man to 'big D'. theblackbear knows that bledsoe will choke the big one...when it truly matters the most.

The results are very interesting when you look a who voted where. An intriquing demographic picture emerges.

really dont see why this is an everyday issue here anymore...he's played 9 games and had one or two so-so starts...he's one of the top rated passer in the NFL, and he is CLEARLY eons better than the GARBAGE we've had at QB since Aikman retired...when our last few QB's would drop back I'd sit there and basically pray that something bad didnt happen, when Bledsoe drops back I expect him to make solid throws and big plays

if they block for him he's very good, if they dont he wont be...end of story

Very unconfident. He's had opportunities before and didn't get it done. He was with the Patriots and Belichek and didn't get the job done. Buffalo had a good back and receivers and the number 2 and 3 defenses the last two years and he was the weak link. He was only successful against bad defenses. As far as what he's done this year, he has even more good receivers and backs than elsewhere, his line protection has been good and he's still on pace to be sacked more than either of predecessors and he still makes too many poor decisions. We won Monday on dumb luck and should be 5-4 in a weak division and conference. His numbers wouldn't be nearly as good in the AFC. The best qb in the NFC with McNabb,Culpepper,Farve having down years doesn't mean a whole lot. His competition in the NFC is Bulger,Hasselbeck and Delhomme, none of whom were high draft picks;contrast those names to Palmer,Manning,Brady,Brees,Plummer and you'll see that Drew's success looks good only superficially so. Look at the low end qb's in the NFC(2nd year Manning and an injured McNabb in the East, a down year for Farve and Culpepper, plus Kyle Orton(rookie), Harrington/over the hill and injured Garcia;the NFC West with an injured Bulger, Warner/McCown and rookie(Alex Smith) and in the South(Mike Vick,Aaron Brooks and Cris Simms/Griese). Not a pretty picture is it. Success is only relative.
