i love the first half, 2 different times when they called fouls on Dallas, when noone was within 2 feet of Dwyane Wade.... officials didnt cause Dallas the game, but some of the fouls were laughable, at best...

They are trying to force feed Wade as the next Jordan. No way no how. Jordan never got calls like that.

I'm a Lakers fan and I don't like Kobe. He wants to be Michael Jordan, but he isn't even in Michael's league. He destroyed an amazing Lakers team over his ego. I'm happy for Riles, Shaq (whom I have always liked), and Gary Payton. All former Lakers whom I admire. Riles was the Head Coach during some of the best Lakers basketball ever played. He was also a Cowboys draft pick.

Avery Johnson is a class act and a good young Head Coach. He has a talented team and a motivated owner. The Mavs will be back.

Watch out for the Suns next year if they return their core group and get Amare Stoudamire back healthy. I am not a fan but like the up tempo game they play. Reminds me of Showtime.

Haven't watched much NBA for a few years, but was intrigued w/ Pat and Shaq possibly solidifying themselves as all time greats. They clearly were not the better team, but won anyway. BTW, lets hope Cuban doesn't buy an NFL team. The guy is annoying.

I agree wholeheartedly. Miami deserved that championship I think. I really like D-Wade as a player, probably the other young star I admire is Gilbert Arenas. Both are down to earth, team-first, type of stars. Unlike your Kobey Bryant type.

Not sure what push on Dirk you're talking about. But if I'm correct, Dirk made a block on Wade, initiating the contact before Wade's arm hit Dirk.

Finally saw the replay of the last play. Payton grabbed Terry's jersey before he attempted the shot. There would have been no continuation on that play because Terry was still dribbling the ball. So if the foul would have been called, he would've gone to the line for two shots, not three.

Right, but officiating was pretty bad throughout the playoffs for both teams. So you cannot blame it on officiating. I mean Nowitski missing 2 key freethrows in 2 key games, he was 94% throughout the playoffs. He just choked.

They'll eb back next year now that they've gotten it out of their system.

Mavs got jumper crazy, and didnt rebound well, overall played below average, but I still fell they would of won had the correct calls been made.

I may root for the Cavs next year after learning that Lebron is a Boys fan. I think he's hands down the best player in the NBA. Kobe is a wannabe. Great player but his problem is he thinks the game revolves around him. I love my Lakers but can't stand him.

Yeah, for me that was the play of the game. 91-90, Wade forearms Dirk in the stomach and Dirk gets called for the foul.

Game over.

The Mavs lost the series themselves but they had help from Wade's posse *cough cough* Refs.

this series was rigged. just like last year's super bowl, they let the team with the most appealing market win in the finals to gain interest. the league really put the screws to dallas in this series, not to make excuses, but I think the NBA gave Miami more breaks than they deserved.
