You guys played a great game and were more hungrier. Thanks for being classy when I came to visit your forum last week and goood luck except for when we hopefully see you again. I think you guys kinda did us a favor. Losing sucks, but sometimes a team needs to be humbled and refocused. I think all the pressure of undefeated is gone so now we can focus onthe clear goal of the Super Bowl. Hopefully we see yall again in the playoffs should yall get in. How do you guys think the Cowboys will play after a big win like this in Washington? And do you think this is the year ya'll will get off the playoff snide?

SB or bust! :D

The Skins' ALWAYS play us tough, doesnt matter if we were 07 Pats and they were the 08 Lions. They will come to play. I think the Cowboys will come to play, we know what is at stake. Now, if the Gnats lose tonight, we will have extra motivation to clinch a playoff spot and get one step closer to owning the division.

I think the Saints have had a lot of lucky bounces this year and those things tend to balance out. Your team may have peeked too early. I believe the Cowboys will win out and make the playoffs. No offense, but next week may be the tougher opponent.

And to quote Jenkins “WE DAT!”

Well, I think peaking too early is possible. We did it the year when we were 13-3. . . however, I don't see the Saints having this problem. Greg Williams needs to tweak his scheme just a bit, and you will be fine. I think Washington is a dangerous game for us because it is a divisional rival.. good luck next week.

Would love to see you guys again.. your fans were a pleasure all week.

No. The Saints have not peaked. They have simply been experiencing what every NFL team experiences during the season, injuries. Having finally lost a game we can wrap home field up against the Bucs and then have three weeks to get everyone healthy.

I'm hoping this is the year.

And thanks for coming back and making a classy post. You've got a great team.

You need to fix you left tackle. He will get Brees killed if he goes up against Demarcus Ware again or Jared Allen.

That being said, you have an excellent team and a GREAT home field advantage.

I agree, I believe the Cowboys did do you guys a favor.

I know it is sexy and good to be undefeated but now Sean Payton can point to the Cowboys game and say, "If you don't play every down like the game is on the line in the Playoffs, you will get beat, even if it is in the Superdome with that crowd".

Also, now Sean Payton can rest his team without being criticized for not going for the undefeated season.

People may think I am crazy, but I would not want to have an undefeated regular season for the Cowboys, just too many distractions.

Oh, we know that. Jamal Brown was lost for the year. He was our lone pro bowl defensive player last year and maybe the best LT in the NFC. Bushrod and Strief have tried to fill in and have done a good job against most team, but Ware was to much for them. It also hurt that Shockey was out. He is by far the best blocking TE we have.

Well you would know better than me. I don’t follow the Saints and i don’t care to. The Cowboys kicked their butts and i couldn’t be happier. We had no chance...no respect from anyone. Brees was a God and Romo is the choke-artist...everyone said. As Mr. Roy Williams said...we will see you in the second round...so get healthy.

Save the injury BS. Dallas has em as well. It was a good game.

I know. That's what I was saying. The Saints are no different from any other team in the NFL. Injuries play a role at given times throughout the season. The injuries were not a material factor in this game, though. The Cowboys' perfect execution was the material factor.
