I have my opinion of Connor Williams and you have yours. That's where we are in the here and now. It's not a personal contest.
yet yours since he was rookie have been wrong and until his contracts up, means you are very worng..no opinion when it comes to players who started all 4 years hes been here regardless of the little hate club he has..coaches 2 full new staff 4 OL coaches ALL STARTED HIM><.they had no reason to but hes the best we have at that spot currently on the roster regardless of a Fans eyes and views..
how can you be rights or have a debate when real pro coaches and half the fan base say hes solid starter..
no ones saying hes a PB hof all pro
he is in fact what MOST normal everyday starters look like..
everyone cant be martin, TS, or even Collins,or fredbeard..those guys are special but teams cant afford SIX special players along an OL with overpaid QB, RB, Receiver, DE, and LBs..
I liken Cwill to a guy like BJ..we let him go because he might have been good but paying market to him would have been mistake and i imagine Cwill is on his way out..only over market pay and we will groom Mcgovern or someone else. and more than likely they are just like Cwill..solid everyday starter..expecitong them all to be all pro is reiculous
for every diggs there is a Brown
for every Martin there is a Cwill
for every AC theres a Wilson
for every great layer on team their counterparts are roster pieces that actually make up more of the roster then the stars..there are very few elite or PB types on each team and the cap dictates you have many players like Cwill under rookie or small deals..
some of you just dont understand team makeup under capped roster..
Cwill will most likely leave get paid and be a starter elsewhere..
when layer can lay 95% or 100% of the snaps every game which is around 60 for OL and you can pick out 2 bad lays a game with third questionable one..hes doing his job..no players perfect i cant find 2-5 plays game Dak makes that are just as costly..most any players gets beat 2-3 times game or a missed read, drops ball, misses a tackle, fumbles.. its the opens that get beat more then they hold up are what you worry about.
