Video: Cooper Beebe in the weight room

You have Booker and Smith at G with Hoffman and his nastiness waiting in the wings and if you watch any college tape of Guyton he was a mauler , disposed of people . Plus Beebe. I keep going back to Steele not doing it for me. I hope RT is up for grabs in camp .

Beebe was improving as the year went on, *at a new position*, and now he has a full offseason of NFL weight and position training to improve.
We should see a good increment of improvement.

Hope we get some of that in Guyton too.

They better anchor that machine to the floor better or he is going to have an accident.

Steele is good in the run game and if we can run the ball, pass protection gets much easier

I’ve seen Dak get leveled as Steele gets beat off the snap . Asim Richards and Nathaniel Thomas should compete for the job .

They will get lots of reps in pre season but Steele, when healthy is a decent pass blocker and good run blocker

He May have had a 98.3 pass blocking efficiency rate but he only had a 60.3 pass block grade which was 43rd out of 64 centers. So 42 centers had a higher pass blocking efficiency rate than 98.3%? Something seems
a little off there

I think the grades are a huge reflection of his lack of experience at the position. All things considered, it's remarkable they threw a rookie guard into a starting NFL centers position. That's trial-by-fire in the worst way, he did OK. I think he kicks some butt this season and you'll see both his run and pass grades improve significantly.

I was too lazy to post it. You know this is the offseason nobody wants to hear about facts and stuff. Everybody tries to be positive in an excessive way. So you only get a bloody nose for posting stuff like that.

But regardless you are right. He was very weak against the run. Pass pro never was a question. Power is a big issue and the questionmark that came with that player. He showed nothing in his first year that wiped away those concerns.

Lets see if he can improve. Having another good guard and stability to his right side will help a lot. Lets see if booker pans out. One can only hope with that crazy investment we spent on him.
